Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Blocking Blocks

EECM (STILL don't know what "CM" even stands for) I tried to ask someone who might know.. I don't mean to put people in the spotlight, but I think it was meredith who I asked, and I was responded to with "C**t MotherF***ers", or something similar of the sort)

Everybody Edits 2
-
Blocking Blocks
-
And I think I heard rumors about "Blocking Blocks 2" or "EECM 2" somewhere..
-
(I'm mainly talking about EE 2 throughout this)
-
Anyways, what is the meaning of all of these? We don't need any of these at all. Why do you people keep making remake, after remake, after remake? It's literally the exact same thing as normal EE but, it's really just worse.
-
Why do you remove magic and potions? I liked them. I don't see what the issue is. Potions gave us powers, and the ability to do things we couldn't do before, and auras, and they were great! If you don't like people cheating through your world, then just turn them off. No need to completely destroy them. Why does the community hate it so much? Plus, I really do find it funny how you have a 'Potion' tab when there's nothing even in it.. If you're such a good developer like you'll need to be to maintain a game like this, then why don't you remove it, huh?
-
And magic. I know I'll get hate for this, but I actually liked the magic system. Magic decay was bad, but after Void removed it, I liked the entire system again. It put forth a challenge to get those smileys. It made us play the game more often.
-
But as if removing magic wasn't killing off the exclusiveness enough, you did this.
Why. WHY? Why is the Fan Boy for sale? Why do I automatically get Beta package?
-
And you give us 1000 max energy?
-
You might as well just stick an Action Replay/GameShark right into the current EE. There's no point in it anymore. There's no challenge. No way to feel better or higher than complete noobs. Nothing.
-
Don't even get me started on the "+2 hours of BC" magic coins.
-
Oh, and by the way, this is in NO WAY a "sequel" to the original EE. In fact, this is trademark you're messing with here. If I read a book, am I legally allowed to make a sequel to it? No, because I didn't make the first one. I know the devs of original EE really aren't going to quit being lazy and make an effort to do anything about it, but still..
-
As I have previously stated, this is the exact same thing as regular EE, but with no exclusiveness whatsoever. Sure, you have your pretty new blocks and smileys and whatnot, but what's the point? No new features. Nothing that is actually considered..well..NEW.
-
I know I've said that a lot, but you've really got to consider it. Let's take a breath of reality here. You're not accomplishing anything by copying off of a game you played and making everything 10x easier. How many quality veterans even play these? I think there was some hype for the first one, but that was quick to end.
-
Not only that, but the fact that you also take this from an older EE version for some reason is really odd in my opinion. Why do you do this? It's buggier, possibly laggier, and doesn't work as well as the up to date one.
-
But all in all, I'm really getting rather tired of these. It's actually pretty sad if you think about it. I'm not exactly sure who the developers of these rip-offs are, (because at this point, I don't even bother keeping track), but I do believe some are people like Ultra Bass, Capasha, etc. Anyways, if I recall correctly, those people were once bot creators for the original EE, right? If that is indeed true, then it's pretty sad to see that instead of making new mechanics for the first game, you're all making these remakes which will likely have a life span of up to 1 month.
-
Plus, some users actually prefer the remakes. YES, I have indeed seen people who think Blocking Blocks was better than the original EE. So now you're not only making a bad game and wasting your time by doing so, but you're also teaching the users of today wrong.
-
Honestly, I would really prefer to have a less moderated game like we have now instead of these. That's how bad they are.
-
But in the end, I really shouldn't think too much of these since, like I said previously, they really won't last that long until finances hit in. So have fun wasting your time, to both users, and developers. Also, you can rage at me all you want. But that won't change the fact that your remakes will never be a success.

You know what? Now that I think of it, this really does remind me of all the Flappy Bird remakes like Happy Bird, Flappy Penguin, Splashy Fish...etc. xD

I paid the price of making EE Remakes and Private Servers, which is copiers everywhere who haven't the slightest clue how to properly manage a community let alone code a game and secure it properly.
All in all, it's your choice to play it, but it's really not worth the time nor effort.

Apparently EECM is EE Creative Mode, but I couldn't find anything about it when I searched for it.
First of all, you may want to put a marker between your paragraphs because reading that was a little hard on the eyes.
-
Second, I don't like EE Remakes any more than you do, but of all the time I've spent trying to troll games like Blocking Blocks, and not so much EE 2, I've found that it's just useless to do so. People who play on these servers are probably just players who are upset at the EE Hierarchy which involves playing to earn your blocks and smilies. Personally, I felt like if all the players were automatically given all the blocks, then what's the point? If you play EE solely to make art, your better off using a program like Paint, Pixen, or Pixaki etc... One might also argue that having more blocks may create quality levels, but I wouldn't count my chickens before they hatch.
-
I've always preferred the EE Hierarchy, just because it makes me feel like a better player because I've been rewarded for playing longer than most. (So I have such packs like Christmas 2011 and the fanboy smiley etc...) Giving everyone every block and smiley in every EE Remake is like giving the Pumpkin and Bunny smilies to people in regular EE. It's not gonna happen, and it shouldn't happen. If you didn't earn it then why should you get it? Furthermore I don't really trust and/or get along with the moderators of these remakes. I prefer the old EE just fine.

I would like a EE mod with a decompiled client. Without the "source code" there won't be new features. Just like regular EE they will die slowly.
EECM means too much things:
-Everybody Edits Complete Mod(You have all items and smileys)
-Everybody Edits Creative Mod(Creats new blocks)
-Everybody Edits Custom Mod(Like new EE Server)
This is a false statement.

The regular EE is not dead, only what is dead is what it used to be. Now, we as players, can either choose to accept the change and move on to create new levels, or try to hold back and relish the superiority of what we considered the past.
-
I will say, in the past, the community was much better as far as socialization goes. This is not to say old current players are no longer good company, but rather a lot of people who were good company no longer play the game (ie: Various members of EX Crew, members of MX and MG Crews, and members from other respective crews.) Crews themselves have mostly died out, though I'd blame that on the fact that most people have lives and just decided they didn't have time for EE anymore. As a former crew owner, short lived as it was, having a crew quickly became overwhelming and I didn't like spending lots of time building levels, not because it wasn't enjoyable, but because it was so tedious and time consuming.
-
That being said, while the community has weakened our tools have been strengthened. We now have regular portals, world portals, invisible portals, (limited) music blocks, switches, decorations, etc... there are so many new features to EE, that one can only be limited by ones imagination (or current inventory.) Even still, when we had little, people managed to use their tools to their fullest creative extent. If levels are bad, we can't blame it on the fact that the game is horrible, but rather the people who abuse those tools and use them in a horrible manner (ie: Box minis, Stairs, Crappy bosses, Smiley art, Overused Sprite art, hotels, etc... and trolls as well whom only seek destruction rather than construction.)
-
So, no EE is not dead, it's only dead if you want it to be dead. EE now has so many tools and blocks though, I think if people really wanted to it wouldn't be that hard to revive the community. But EE is nothing more than a mere game, to me and many others, so why spend so much time reconstructing a simulated environment? What greater good will it do? If I wasn't a long time player of EE, I probably wouldn't play at all, but since I know what EE has been I will still continue to play. There are still people who I find enjoyable to converse with. It's still easier to make levels in EE than to program a game with other software. And, EE is probably the only online community I've ever stuck with ever since I found it. I've played many a game and quit after a year or so, but not EE. So I will enjoy it to an extent, but I wouldn't waste my time reviving it, because it's not really dead.

On Topic: If we're lucky, these remakes might filter some of the noobs out of the main game. I wouldn't count on it though...

EECM means too much things:
-Everybody Edits Complete Mod(You have all items and smileys)
-Everybody Edits Creative Mod(Creats new blocks)
-Everybody Edits Custom Mod(Like new EE Server)
Technically it could mean all of them, but you don't make it yourself. The maker does.
So you may call it any of them, but 2 of them will always be wrong.
