playerIO keeps running everybody edits, who works in playerIO can edit everybody edits. He left them cause pending to join yahoo.

Chris left due to money issues. He joined Yahoo! Games or something so he can earn more money. If he's online then that means he might check in the game's status so he can know if EE is still worth updating. The game gets its updates from Cape Copenhagen now, and they should continue updating soon.

I've spoken to Benjaminsen in length about EE and since joining Yahoo he can no longer legally own any game. Thud he has transferred ownership to Cape.net . Chris cannot work on the game and I highly doubt he will announce any news.

In that case, why doesn't he advise Yahoo to buy the Everybody Edits IP from Cape Copenhagen? They could certainly do something new with the game, and Chris would get to run it again.

A while back hummerz5 and someone else talked to him on KONG and asked about updates... he said he would "give a poke" at the mods to see whats up...
Then the owner of FST/GamerZING talked to chris about buying the game, he said he would talk to shoe and last i knew shoe and the owner were talking back and forth about it...

At the moment, EE being taken care of by anyone would be better than it's current state of decay.
I just hope that that someone is experienced with handling games like Everybody Edits, and is open and communicative to it's playerbase.

So? I've made the first EE private server, I've also made a private server for minecraft.
You don't specify which company it is, either.
The question is whether this person is accomplished enough to handle Everybody Edits, and I honestly doubt it.

Not hard to make a Minecraft server ...I won't do it but a lot of people of set up Minecraft servers
