I honestly don't know why this has gone way outta hand.Master1 should have just postponed #3 until he recruits better judges unlike the lazy crowd he has now. I wouldn't quit just because a little delay or a bit of waiting on results though. The contest isn't over until master1's say so. I guess there are many impatient people such as

skullz & sensei.
We all said we would sign up! Did we say "Id like to sign up if everything goes as planned?" nope.We said we would sign up,end of story.

Umm when we signed up, we signed up thinking that the competition would follow the dates/info made by GKA. So yes we signed under the impression that everything will go as planned.

This basically feels like some annoying homework class ran by high-schoolers. They just slap a packet of homework in our faces spinning from across the room, holler "DUE FRIDAY, POONERS!", and doze off back to sleep in their beanbag chairs ;\

Master1 isn't gonna give his results until the other judges "get home." That would be like a ref in a basketball game calling all the calls while the other refs go into the stands and just watch.Not possible.....failure.

I got other things to do, other projects I want to work on. This takes up my time and there's other stuff that I'd rather do than this. I signed up because I thought it would be fun. Even if I'm letting down m1 for leaving, it's only because I got let down.

It has gone correctly, according to GKA's schedule. Where on the schedule do you see times for when the judging has to be done? There aren't any.

The easiest way to fix that issue was to judge while the next round was going on, however some people tend to have gotten lazy.

At this point in the contest, Jawapa, Creature, Skullz&Sensie1, DClevels, Kentiya, and Itsmeandersonlol have all quit. I'll ask the question again, is this even worth continuing? If we had known the majority of you would just leave if things didn't go as planned, we never would have started this. When you guys quit, it doesn't make things easier, it only gets more and more difficult. Now we have holes in the brackets and the website offers no way of moving players around once they have been placed.

I would make another contest after this one, but ill only take active judges, if they dont come, i demote them, and the contest will be most organizated.

also given the rule judges must complete all levels i just skrewed this contest even more

Umm okay? And how is it not master1's fault? If he would have got rid of the inactive judges in round 2 this wouldn't have happened... It's not entirely his fault, I blame some of it on GKA for not making time for judging, barely planing dates, and throwing random people in to run/judge the contest...

Dear GKAbyssflorida and Master1,
I will be on vacation until around March 30. In worse-case scenario, I will not have internet access until then, so be aware of this if I don't get the chance to submit my levels. However, if I do have internet access, I'll let you know as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience I've caused. If this works out well enough, I'll be sure to submit my levels if possible.

Because unlike you all I'm not a quitter, and unlike you all I don't have unrealistic expectations of the judges. The judges are just regular people like you and me, they have lives, commitments, and responsibilities. To be able to write out full level reviews for each round is a gift, and we should appreciate it, but if the judges simply don't have time then we shouldn't complain. If I have to wait till the end of the contests to hear the results than I will. I have faith in the judges, and I wish others did too.

It's not like I'm leaving because I think the competition is going to fail; I do believe the competition will continue and finish with a winner. I felt bored and that's a fact, and in my opinion, and many others', you can stop doing something if you're bored of it.

I quit cause i was bored of making rounds, and the judges was so late that i think will be useless do it.

I just wanted a most organizated contest, that judges rate worlds in right date, and post results in right date.

This contest had no set date for when to rate worlds and post results. Not sure why nobody in this topic understands that... The whole rating and posting results during the next round idea was just my way of sort of giving it a set time. Nothing was ever set in stone. The contest was still going good until everyone started leaving.

Now with barely anyone left to participate it's dead. Some of the judges were not doing their jobs, yes, but in the end, I really blame the ones who left for the competition dying. Not the unorganized system.
