Goeyfun's a copier?

I am new to this game and I kind of like it by now. I've seen people do extraordinary creations I can only dream on. I plan to learn the basics and soon try to do the same.

While I was visiting worlds I came up to this guy named Goeyfun... His world was pretty nice and well made.
But while I was talking about it with my first friends, they told me it's fake. They also told me a player's name and a link to the original world. Some screenies.

This happens with this game, because the admins have seemingly left. Most people that have been around a while knows when something is a copy.

NVD made a map copier thing where you can copy the map and put it into your own world.

The evidence still lacks and basing actions upon faith isn't appropriate.
The best deterrent for copiers is ridicule, not causing more drama by clearing a world without solid grounds.
If there needs to be any clearing, it should be worlds that are clearly inappropriate or used for harassment.

While I am 100% sure that he copied those, hell I even saw both of the originals when they got released, I have to agree with your statement here, even if I agree reluctantly.

As much as I'd hate to say I wouldn't doubt it id MIHB copied. I don't really know Goeyfun to know if he'd copy. But it wouldn't surprise me if MIHB did...

I was there when Mihb released the map, which was two years ago. Goeyfun created his account in 2011, before either of those maps would have came out. Mihb knew more people back then, so he would be likely to have had a bot that made portals invisible. Although, if you think about it, any of the old EX members could copy a map, and no one would question if it was copied.

Is slightly different though.
Same concept, but differently made.
If you were to judge it though, MIHB's dream does have more stuff, but maybe that was cuz he was adding on after?

But my main point would be, if goeyfun was using a "bot" to copy worlds.
I doubt he could have copied MIHB's dream, because they were different.

You can't be serious... Both of these original levels were released quite some time ago, and both Mihb and Thanel have a good reputation in level making. Why the hell would they need to copy someone else's map? None of us seem to have really heard of this Goeyfun guy.

It doesn't matter how cool, popular and trustworthy a person is, it doesn't make it factual.
My statement applies to all worlds that are claimed to be copied, not just these particular few.
There are no reliable dating methods for when a world was created. That's just how it is, and therefore no worlds should be cleared just because someone thinks it was copied.
Not to mention, clearing worlds for being copied is really dumb as well as power abuse.

Ok. So if someone copies my levels that I worked really hard on and claimed credit for it, that's totally ok? I think goeyfun should suffer the consequences. Whether it be a hardly known game like EE or a big site like Deviant Art it's not fair for users to steal work that other users worked hard on.

It's not just me that sees it, it's just about everyone else commenting on this topic, and no, We don't think they were copied, we know they were copied. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out dude.

Master1: While I agree with you 100% that they didn't copy those maps from goeyfun, Atilla is right about not deleting the maps. No matter how right you are convinced you are, or how justified you feel, that is the wrong way to go about things. German's felt that they were the superior, and felt justified in doing all the atrocities they pulled during the holocaust. While that seems like an awfully big leap to compare that to this, the moral reasoning behind both decisions aren't that far apart.
Besides, for all we know, goeyfun copied those worlds because he likes them, and would like to be able to play them whenever he wants without having to go searching for them, and isn't trying to steal credit away from the original creators. We simply don't have the evidence. If we were to delete those worlds of someone who was merely a big fan not meaning to do any harm, how would that make us look?
