Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Let me say this at first, please excuse me if there is already a topic like this. If so, this could be considered a revival.
I like to reflect on things a lot. Any memory I have to recollect can be triggered by the slightest thing. I wanted to make this topic of specific memories that people have from older days in Everybody Edits.
This will just be a list of little things that set a nostalgic mood for the community, to reflect upon the golden days of EE. I will try to update this list if I can.
I'll start it off with things I remember from when I first joined up until recently. (They won't be in chronological order.)
Who remembers...
When you had to re-login every time there was an update?
When there was no shop?
When black blocks were just a bug?
When there was no chat?
When decorations had colour on the minimap?
When you could balance on two arrows consistently?
When there was no auto-align?
When Gems were called (I think it was something like) EE Coins?
When there were no backgrounds or decorations?
When there was no addition of ANY type of blocks (it was just the basics)?
Peter?
When there were no profiles?
When coins did absolutely nothing (not the recent removal of magic before woots)?
When not everybody had usernames?
When there was no kicking (or any commands)?
When you were green on the minimap?
Offline
Yes to to all but 3 of them...When Gems were called (I think it was something like) EE Coins,
When there was no addition of ANY type of blocks (it was just the basics), and Peter. Although, not until I saw the green on the minimap in your questions did I realize I had forgotten that, thanks for the reminder.
I joined before the glass blocks were even out, had a good run. Unfortunately EE became too nubby with nothing special. The last great thing I remember that was really awesome was the friend list, that gave everyone so many hopes about MrShoe but meh.
I remember the time when EX crew Boss, Banana Boss, Snake Boss (Zacoist/Cyph1e), Ex crew Shift, other great bosses such as Cow's boss & Spiderman's boss were actively opened. Sometimes more than one at the same time. Those were my favourite days about EE. EE died to me after all these bosses died.
Just got my witch today, I remember all that time trying to get her. It finally happened.
I remember some of the old players such as Monkey who were just too awesome. So sad that they quit.
I remember the time when portals weren't made and most of the minis had gravity usage when you failed a mini.
I remember the first crew I ever joined, US crew. Too bad it died 1 day after I joined it.
I remember when there were only like 10 smileys in the shop maybe not even that.
I remember when smilies such as coy, XP, XD only came out. It feels like they've been in the game since forever yet it was nice to greet them into the game at the time.
I remember completing my first EX crew world. I thought so pro of me xD yet I was a noob.
I remember the Halloween contest. Too bad that I was too nub with no friends to participate in it.
I remember all the awesome players I met along the way. I will never forget you <3

EE died to me after all these bosses died.
This is so true, I was a huge boss fanatic as I'm sure you were.
They gradually just started to become less active.
However, I'm not sure how to add this to the list.

I first played Everybody Edits when it appeared on FreeWorldGroup in fall of 2010. There weren't even coins or keys at that time, just blocks and gravity. I remember when hook jumps were considered a special challenge, and then everybody learned how to do them and their usage exploded. Then when keys were introduced, suddenly everybody was making those awful stairs levels. The overall quality of levels dropped at that point, but since then it's been slowly rising again, and now there seem to be more high-quality levels than ever before.

I used to like bosses, but now most of them are pretty terrible, usually deleting the green blocks when they say those are the safe ones. Also the lag with the newer updates makes it much harder to win at bosses.
I think magic system killed bosses. People want easy coins, not have to win to get 1 coin a time.
I joined back before Santa Smiley was introduced.. no usernames, no back walls, no blocks other than what you started with besides beta..
The game was fun then but it did become stale after awhile. I took a 3 or so year absense, came back, and have been playing more and for a longer period of time back then, however part of me sort of wishes some things were the way they used to be. Such as no magic.. or at least have a better magic system.
When there was no shop? When there was no chat? When there was no auto-align? When there was no addition of ANY type of blocks (it was just the basics)? When not everybody had usernames? When all the bosses died?
I don't know or there was a chat when I played the first time, but I remember that I didn't had chat
Even though this is a bit recent...
When there were no shadows at all?

Ah no kicking... good time for trolls...
I remember using Cheat Engine to hack mod mode, then flying over to code boxes in levels to get codes.
I also use WPE several times to crash worlds (went a little bit crazy with the crashing haha....), and key spam.
I don't even remember how to do half that stuff, nor does it probably even work anymore.
