Halloween and Easter

Well, i remember those old times, at the 2 most famous contests,
Where everyone was building like crazy, beast levels everywhere etc,

This could be a solution to get EE back from dead, and ofc everyone will participate, making great worlds etc

I don't think that the battle of the bots change anything, i mean, Everybody edits is a place where you build, think about the minis, art etc, not a game with bots everywhere,

+ this contest of bots is kind of unfair, only good coders, experienced coders can win...

Every persons who will say that this is a bad idea, then they have their good reaons:

- "I have bunny, punpkin smiley, i dun want someone else to steal my swag"
-" My poop is better than all my art i've done so far, i have no chance"
- " No, it will create an enormous drama like the other time"

Well i think everyone who'll say that, then they have a QI close to 0.

It's not a bad idea, this contest is what i want. I wanted to creat this contest, but everyone doesn't trust just because my bad reputation. Tournament of bots doesn't help anything, ee peoples want worlds, not bots.

But bots makes the worlds (that people want) better.

But it was a waste of time, while they programm a bot that they will not use, they can made a good ee world.

The battle of the bots is a good contest... we had multiple art and minigame contests before and it's only fair that bot makers have one as well.

Regarding having a separate contest, it can only be held by the mods or Atilla. Otherwise a mini contest is the only thing that could work.

Yeah i'm ok with that, but, It's kind of unfair for the guys who weren't here while halloween and easter contests ;-;

A second chance of those, could be a second chance of Entire EE

I kinda agree, sure battle of bots is a good contest, but it is the first OFFICIAL contest (as its on the blog) for like 2 years. Wouldnt it have been better to start off with a world contest, especially as the last ones on eeforumify lacked players because they were unofficial and were not found on blogs or kong forums or other sites.

Edit: 1000th posts, yessssshh, those forum game posts when i was a young noob paid off!

Haha, nice i kinda agree to all of you, because i leaved EE for like 1 year, and i didn't knew that bots has so much space in that game, so yeah, but let's all fight to get that contests again

The Battle of the Bots is the first unofficial contest that is expected to be successful since UBC created by KOTO. The Battle of the Bots is still community-run, Cape has just gracefully offered to sponsor the rewards so that people have an incentive to participate. For them, they get a passionate new developer community to improve EE, and for us, we get the rewards of course, and the fun of the tournament.

Sure, it's unfair to people who are unable to program, but what of the official contests prior to this? The New Year's, Easter, etc... People who weren't skilled in creating minigames or art didn't stand a chance. This competition offers something for those with a mathematical brain and a desire to code. There has never been something like this in EE before.

I consider anyone who says they "don't like bots" to be a traditionalist, a liar, or absolutely crazy.

Let me explain:

The traditionalist; someone holding onto EE's past and not wanting to let go. Sure it was fun back then, but things change, and EE can be even more fun if you allow it to be.

The liar; you don't have to pretend you don't like bots just so you can seem "cool". There's really nothing wrong with them, PlayerIO created an SDK to aid in stuff like this. Sure, there are many exploitations of the system that should be patched, but leave that to the admins of EE.

The lunatic; I know you have an opinion, and I don't mean to change that, but please give bots more tries before you completely blow them off.
