Everybody Edits YouTube channel has 1.2 million combined views? :O

The Everybody Edits YouTube channel has these statistics:

For a game that had 1000-2000 players daily that is quite alot of views, this just shows how popular EE was at the time I suppose. Some videos that stood out for views were the Everybody Edits extended promo video:

Not really. EE was really quite popular a couple of years ago. In the grand scheme of things, this isn't a really long time, but in 'internet time' it's an eternity.

If you think that 10000 to 20000 visited EE each day back in the days and every time you played it you gave EEs channel 1 view because of the login screen. It got quite a lot of views

That's not how that works. A view only counts if you view the videos on youtube, or on one of their partners websites.

That's not how that works. A view only counts if you view the videos on youtube, or on one of their partners websites.

That's why the promo video only has 20k views

EE has 800,000 registered users, and at the time, plenty of which played as guests as well.
All of the views combined, there's no doubt it's that high.
