Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

There was an old topic here which alot of us talked about how much we liked EE, and gave a percentage. I thought a newer one would be better since that topic is 2 years old and peoples opinions change.
Here is a brief summary of the last 2 years to get a percentage in your mind:
- No updates for a year
- Level crashers
- Staff apologizes
- New fanboy smiley opportunity
- Mods are going on holiday again
- Spambot widespread
Personally, this game would receive 35% from me ATM.
So, I'm sure they'll be a few declines in people's percentages since last time.

My opinion changed so much since then. Back then I was still in depression about the decline in bosses and community, I stopped caring so much and started to enjoy the game for what it was.
Still love the forum more than the game though, it's like better than facebook.

it's just like facebook too, a new drama every day
in all honesty, it blows
nobody gives 2 craps about making a world worth something, or making innovative minis anymore.
It's just a bot infested junkyard of the same boring thing in different forms over and over again.
What used to be innovation and skill in a game that was meant to be a platformer has now become a testing ground for programmers.
it's sickening on multiple levels

Yeah, we, programmers killed totally the game 10/10. Actually the BALs are the only good thing on EE atm, or do you like more crap level as "stairs to code", "magic coins", "code 111", "boss to code", and a long etc of SBL? (crap based levels)

IDK, I feel like bots are taking over EE.

or you know, you could actually make a good level without a bot
It is the community, not the game. Go make some good stuff to see good stuff.
A game is only as good as the community. What's the incentive if nobody wants to try anymore?

I'm not blaming people who make bots, I'm saying the game lost it's original purpose because of certain bots. And yes, bots are cool, they bring innovation, but at the same time people have lost interest in real level design because of them.
Nubs will continue to make nub levels, but people who have the capacity to make amazing worlds have stopped making them.

How much do I like EE? Very much. I will always like EE. It is a fine made game. What I actually love is the idea behind it. Unfortunately I like to play games with friends and they have lost interest in this game pretty much. So did I too.

Nubs are nubs and they wont change even if lobby was filled full of pro levels, basically cause they quit due the "harsh minigames pls have piety of me"

this community = this game
let the nubs quit
everything is solved

I want to try. I have made plans to make people think again about what it used to be.
Nubs will continue to make nub levels, but people who have the capacity to make amazing worlds have stopped making them.
I think of "nubs" as baby pros--they just need to learn a bit more. I hate it when people hate "nubs" for making levels like that. You could give them some advice and teach them how to make better levels, yet people troll them. Trolling them is like slapping a baby for drooling--it will simply not work out that way.
Offline
it will work out
just when they grow up they'll have less fond memories of when they were nubs
when you look at it child abuse is a terrible analogy to trolling
the fact is, until someone gets into one of the limbo categories in between nub and "pro"
no one feels like they should waste their time teaching because they have no potential anyway
the true deciding factor is if they want to learn by themselves
and if they can learn by themselves

I strongly agree with this. The most frustrating thing is that now I almost can't see a world without a bot in it, while even the simplest thing like pressing a key is requiring a bot to do so. Why say !giveedit someone why it is always possible for the owner to use a slash, and why !keyr when you could have just pressed your arrow keys to reach the keys? Like t?? auto key system, which we had used arrows and keys and doors or gates has became playerio and send and rgb (Keybot, as i have heard)

I mean about game bots, like connect 4 that is 24/7 on lobby. I actually also hate command bots "!gedit" when you can use "/giveedit"
Offline
The point of !gedit is so that people other than the owner can give edit to whoever they want. Same with other commands. EE is still how it has always been. At the moment it's not too boring because I'm distracted with Battle of The Bots. After that, I'll have to do The Many Appearances of S17. So it's pretty good for me right now.

I only agree with the italics. BALs are actually really fun and it contributes to the innovation factor. It's the abundance of carbon copy cookie cutter levels that exist out there. Reminds me of the mobile gaming industry.
