Topic about plans for future of ee idk

General Ideas I am having:

Keep rules
Add captcha, anti spam acc, etc etc (stuff Atilla, others, have been suggesting)

World owner powers given:
Ability to whitelist/blacklist chat(chat bans)
Ability to ban users from their world
Ability to ip ban users from their world (opinions?)
Ability to turn chat on/off
Maybe ability to put level limit on chatting? Would prevent people who are lvl1 spam bots from chat spamming

A quick note: I think that trolling ppl do out of boredom(worded by m1) should not be allowed
I also think that chat should not go past the rules unless it is a censored world.
Maybe add way to censor chat from users not whitelisted?

Guardians: whether to add or not?

ideas I thought of for guardians:
enforce spam censors by being a presence that threatens removal from level. If there is a person with the power to enforce it, then, even if they do not ban, they can still kick. I think this will decrease amount of uncensored chat.

Quick note: a video report system needs to be added. Once that is added then guardians could ban people who are recorded trolling, causing harm.

quick note about ban system:

It should act more like forum ban system, unless the account is doing stuff like posting inappropriate content links, viruses, etc.

Maybe instant perma ban for those things?? im not sure

It should be possible to just remove chat from someone too, that would prevent the above issue better than a complete ban.

I cant think of other pro guardian reasons anymore.
Who should be a guardian?

I think that previous actions are important, but people should have the opportunity to have extra chances. Something needs to be done to prevent any possibility of guardians causing permanent damage. Normal players should be able to report guardians. Normal players should understand that while guardians hold more power than them in a way, normal players still all preside over guardians and have the power to remove the gaurdians' statuses.

These are just random ideas I had. I posted everything in a new topic because it involves more than just guardians, and it is not a list of 10 ideas.
Overall points:
Keep rules
Allow ways to enforce rules
Allow ways for world owners to be able to protect their worlds from stuff
Anti bot/spam accs system thing
New ban system
Guardians would be good for helping to enforce rules as far as I can tell
Video report system
Guardians should be given extra chance for previous offences before becoming guardian.
If they change all their issues, there will be no problem
Alll ways for guardians to cause permanent damage should be removed
People still hold power over guardians
If EE owners want EE to be child friendly then I do not think these rules should be removed:
Basically everything other than client thing

I dont know specific arguments against client usage. I suppose that could be removed from rule list? in the case that there is no arguement against it by owners of ee.

Though If owners of the game want specific guidelines for ee, I do not see why there is an issue with that.

As many have suggested, I think the most efficient way to reduce bots and trolls is to implement an e-mail conformation upon creating an account. This would also solve issues of people who get hacked, and cannot change their password due to using a fake email.
Also, I do not believe regular trolling should be a bannable offense. It's usually deserved, but either way it seems like a small issue on a larger scale. To ban all trolls would create a large decrease in the already dwindling userbase of EE.

I think that trolling should warrant a limited ban at least for several bans. It is not a big problem, and therefore should not have a serious result to the troller. I do not know if it should ever result in a permanent ban or not.

the guardian business messed ee up more than it's ever been messed up since hw 11!
just ip ban and its ok
any maybe remove whining people from the community

Record everything that the moderators, admins and guardians do. They could be audited on a regular basis to prevent anything strange from happening.

If I read correctly we can submit ideas or something
I don't think ability to IP ban people from worlds but banning people from worlds could be decent
Ability to clear the chat
A /mute player time command so you can mute someone in the world for a certain amount of time to stop them talking

/pm player message
but most of these ideas are good
