Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I am just wanting to know everyone's ideas for what the alternatives to guardians would be, or in what way their concept of guardians differs from the current ones; whether by the person chosen or by the purpose of them.
how about we give me the ability to ban shared accounts
no guardians
it's called world owners
a person that has in-game admin commands, ban commands and anti-troll command

Let's say the world owner bombs his world. After a while he has to leave, but there are still several people around. All of a sudden a spam bot comes in and starts spamming the chat. The owner cannot kick him because he is not there.
Let's say it's a "To Code" world. The owner leaves, but leaves code, and then someone starts to troll. If a guardian is present at these times he/she can make a difference.

Well I did make a whole EE bible on this explaining that a certain person should do certain types of moderating. Let's be honest, no one else here is better than Atilla in checking web links on whether they lead to anything inappropriate. NVD might be able to, but not as efficiently as Atilla can. However, Atilla might lack some other skills in moderating other areas.
Made a whole bible page on this... come on...

Give them a chance is all I can say, if they moderate efficiently then their is no need for alternatives.
no guardians
Best suggestion 2014!
This is a false statement.

/addadmin, /removeadmin
Your problem has been solved.

@ZeldaXD: I know a lot of people have recommended that before. I think this would cause too much drama. I would think making someone an admin of your world is the equivalent of having a representation of you. What if that other person started kicking people, in your name, because they didn't like them. Assuming you aren't there, this person could do whatever they wanted, and people might think it was under your rule because it's your world.
I would personally never give someone admin rights in my world. My world belongs to me and me only.

lets also say that if the owner leaves then all previous rules are diminished and the players can say/do whatever they want.

YOU decide who you give the admin privileges to, so it's still YOUR world. and if they mess up YOU can take their rights away. YOU have a way more control about what happens in YOUR world as if there is a guardian, choosen by shoe (NOT YOU).
Also check out this.

@Mylo: I'm suggesting if you give admin privileges, but then realize you have to leave. So you leave, but there is still someone in admin mode. They could really mess things up.
Guardians are not allowed to do so. Guardians are only supposed to act in times which intervention is necessary. If a guardian acts without purpose (or with personal purpose), they are not deserving of being a guardian. The point is to make the game more fair.

simply issue /removeguardian or /removeadmin at him before leaving. maybe even a UI could be introduced to make this simpler.
and still. if you don't trust someone, don't give him the rights. i don't really get your problem.

Changing the "System" to kick everybody who use a bad word.
Probably the most pointless idea ever. I would hate to go into a world I like and say "This is not a bad level" and then be kicked for saying the "bad word". I guess I could understand kicking someone if they were using the "bad word" to insult someone by saying something like, "I think you are bad". It could still end in people getting kicked for complimenting others though...
Also I feel like you haven't thought enough about this idea yet. There are many things we need to know that you left out, such as:
- If the owner of the world uses the "bad word" do they also get kicked?
- If I tell my friend to use the "bad word" or I'll kick them, should they still be kicked if they use it?
- If a guardian uses the "bad word" to describe an issue on EE, should they be kicked? Ex. "This is a really bad glitch on ee"
- If a moderator uses the "bad word" to describe something they left out in an update, should they be kicked? Ex. "Too bad we left out blue coindoors on this update"
- If we are punishing people for saying the "bad word" should we reward them for saying the "good word"?
- If I told you this was a "bad" idea, would I be kicked off of the forums? Does this rule only apply to EE?
- Speaking of only applying to EE, if I google "bad" should I be kicked off the internet?
Please do more research and incorporate deeper thought into your ideas when you suggest them.
