Shall I accept the guardian offering?

Quick and short:

Shall I accept the offering to join their volunteer program? Yes/No with or without explaination pleaes.
Do you believe it is wise?
Do you think I would be a good liason?
Do you think I can be a good addition to the community?
Please don't get me wrong, I reconsider this now as Cyclone is joining the program as well and it might be a good move to have some matured people there.

I will make my decision depending on the feedback I receive here.

do what you want. if you have enough time on your hands and believe you can be unbiased, go for it. it will turn a lot of people against you and you might lose enjoyment of the game from people constantly pestering you. if you're okay with that, then join.

as a side note, the cyclone you see in-game is not actually cyclone, it's an impostor, so if you're reconsidering because you believe an old admin is coming back, you should reconsider your reconsideration.

Yes, why not, I know you since 2011, you're a grown up like me, you're a serious guy, I know you can manage. I trust you. I believe EE would be lucky to have a grown up person, able to judge, stay neutral and obey the rules.

Helvi, I really think you should. As one who was originally against the guardians, you are now being given the opportunity to be a part of them. In this way you can come to a greater understanding of how and why the system works, be able to help other people, and hopefully make your voice heard to any changes you might see fit. This is your opportunity to make a difference.

Well you were one of the now few Guardian haters. If you volunteer as a Guardian I doubt you will be bashed for being one. Go ahead. You have a lucky opportunity.

You hated guardians and everything having to do with them.   Cohesion is important, especially when you are going to be working with these people both directly and indirectly.   You're going to accept the fact that they are guardians, put aside differences, and work together to better the EE community.  

       Overall, you are mature (except for the fact that you hated guardians and the guardian program) and like Dazz said, good ability to stay neutral and resolve conflicts.   I think you'd be a great addition to the guardian team as long as you are able to get along with fellow guardians as it is important with this type of "cabinet" of players.

       You do realize if you become a guardian you'd no longer be able to make sexy maps.

I was not ever hating them. Actually I was just upset and voiced my concerns regarding missing rules - which I made afterwards. Thats the reason why he asked to join the team - because I made the entire guardian ruleset which was really needed.

If you have concerns, which I guess you have some since you post this, then first get rid of your concerns and then go for it.

If you would join guardian team that would be nice since I don't think I have heard half of their names ever in my life.

And ask yourself that if it is profitable by your means. You might believe in yourself but will others believe in you?

Stop. You have no idea what you're talking about. Helvi is one of the nicest people I know in EE, and being a guardian wouldn't change that. And honestly I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate having a user like Helvi be a guardian, since he is widely known and accepted as a generally mature and kind person. I don't know what your deal is, but you need to let it go.
