I don't like these types of topics because people's feelings end up getting hurt.

That being said I'm going to hurt some feelings and say that DCLevels, StageCrew, and Benje00 will probably get first prize.

I'm not sure if I'm planning on participating, but I feel like pretty much if you participate, and do your best, you're almost guaranteed to be in the top nine.

Buzzerbee don't be a killyjoy. A little competition never hurt the forums. It's good for people to compete because then they will be forced to try hard to actually win. So maybe for once players will think outside the box and actually create levels that are fun/unusual.

More than half of the people there have nooby worlds (sprite art worlds, signature worlds). I find it hard to believe that does people will win the contest.

This is total troll. The first three are lobby nobs who make sprite art while talking about random quirky topics, usually in a great world hosted by Jjoj. Creature won't win because he's Creature. M4nu is no longer active. Capasha is not active either as far as I'm aware. Teleporthacker1 is a notorious troll and hacker.
However, I think you might get a place Itsmeandersonlol, your level was really nice.

We're in the same boat, only Master1 mentioned me and that was because I told him I was making a level. I am not saying I will place but the mini's I made so far are coming out really well and the concept I am using is almost perfected (Had to cut down portal use from over 200 portals down to less than 100) the only thing I will struggle on is the art but I will go through tutorials on this forum and I will use Boh's design of stone walls for wooden walls or at least something similar so overall the art I will make will not be great but it will still be viable. I will probably focus on in-game art more than the minimap though. Hey, at least it won't be eye rapey

So many players are disregarded, I am more than sure that the competition is much tougher than everyone perceives it to be.

I think this is due to lack of world space. It's more difficult in a medium/large world to be able to successfully combine in game and mini map art. I've worked real hard, and even now my mini-map is only sub-par.
Everyone else, that I'm aware of, only focused on the mini-map, so you know... I think in game art is more important but I was told judges base their scored on both sections of art (In-game/mini-map) so I think it's best to try and do both.

Some foreground blocks have similar minigame colors to other background blocks. Once the art in my works is finished I'm going to try to use that to hide my minis. Not sure how it'll look visually, though. It might end up like all those people who put black blocks on a black background.
