Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Simple question. What is the most unique, or freshest, world you've seen? By unique I mean a brand-new idea, or a new style, new minigame layout, new art, new anything else.

Not really a new world, but I love the musical concept: http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWAKSfwkCwa0I

There's a music concept? Seems like he just placed random music notes on random blocks and in other empty spaces. How is that unique?
I'd say the most unique level is probably "Mansion of Torture" Which was made way back in 2012. The level was basically a crime solving level where you collected clues as you played through the map, and had to use them to figure out who was torturing people. I still haven't seen anything like it to this day, it was a one of kind level.

The most unique are Toop's worlds, specially Heroic Quest.
This is a false statement.

Not random, but not too hard to do either. The person who made it just put chords, or notes in the same scale together. I remember seeing a similar thing in a race world by JR2 a while ago(not sure if it was ever finished), but I think 4649 made it for him.
Also I love Mansion of Torture. One of my favourites.

So placing chords on random blocks is unique... What has EE come too...?

Yes, it is unique because it hasn't appeared much in the past. And they're not random blocks, they're the the path you're supposed to follow.

How has that not appeared much in the past - That's like almost every "200 minigames" "Stairs to code" "Boss to code" "hard parkour" world that I've ever seen.

@Master1: Except M4nu's chords are meant to have expression in gameplay. As you notice, their melodies reflect directly to the challenges your playing. They are not simple "C, D, E, F, G, etc..." all in a row. They are specifically created harmonies to give the player a greater sense of being in the world that M4nu created.

No they don't

Seriously, if you don't like it then stop complaining and contribute something better. -_-

I wasn't complaining - I was just confused, and still am.

The worlds you're talking about have random notes. The notes are not in a specific chord or scale. They hold no meaning. They do not create any specific feeling. However, by using a certain chord or scale you can make a specific feeling, for example minor chords have more of a sad sound while major chords have a happy sound. And the way it's done in the world that failgirl linked is like it's a soundtrack to the level.

They aren't random. They sound good.

I think it's unique but not all that impressive, because it's such an easy thing to make. It's a simple concept too, it's just that the concept hasn't been used much.

I agree with Master1 a little. The gameplay is like 200 minis to code and the music is somewhat messy in my opinion. I had the same idea about music incorporated with minigames, but didn't have the time to make it.
The most unique world in my opinion is Odious Laboratory. It takes EE to a whole other "level". Heh.

REally? Can you give me the link to it?

I agree with master1.... Maybe I would get where you are come from if there was actually any kind of mood in the level. You say that minor chords give it a "sad" feeling that's supposed to provide a "soundtrack to the level". But there is barely a level and definitely nothing to provide a soundtrack to lmao.
From a musical standpoint, its really not that impressive. It seems like he just put chord members in random clumps throughout the level. A fifth grade clarinet player could do that.

You misspelled "third".

I understand that, and agree. But unique doesn't necessarily mean impressive. It's not even the same as creative either. It's just different from the rest. The minis aren't unique, it's just that concept.

It would've been unique...I guess... If he pulled it off, which IMO he didn't.
