Hi there, when helvi stalked me into my world, he said this:

"MrShoe should advertise EE on twitch.tv"

I do agree with what helvi said. Maybe EE could get some more players.

Do you agree with what helvi said?

Advertising is a good idea, especially since the majority say the game is dying, however all the advertising would have to come from the community, why and how would MrShoe/ the company pay for it if they aren't really paying the people that are supplying the updates (nvd) and the rights to the new graphics (toop) regardless if they say they don't want to be paid, the point still stands. You also have to make sure if people decide to advertise, then show them all that is good about it and have good levels open most of the time, because if they do decide to check it out and the lobby is flooded with CODE IS 1111 type levels then they might not want to stay too long. Lastly, make sure you check the demographics of where you are deciding to advertise (although twitch doesn't seem too horrible, their might be better options).

TL;DR: I like the idea if the WHOLE community decides to work together on it, and make an effort at making it work, this could be a good idea.

If it is advertised on Twitch, Mr. Shoe should clean up the lobby to make a good impression on newer players.

- There will be an influx of signups, and they will begin at level one. Many rooms do not allow these people, and could have a bad taste (I just signed up, and I was kicked from a room!).
- The signup might suggest "check your spam filter" because email companies might think that it is a spam because of a sudden surge of signups
- The lobby should have popular levels at the top (for just that period). This will give the newer players something to do, and then while they learn the game they can determine which levels are good and which ones are bad. The popular levels should be very easy, because these are people who have basically never played the game before.
- Introduce referrals; people get gems and such if someone else signs up using a link and decides to buy gems

You can already do that. Players often act if they cannot help the game in any way.

I mean an official trailer, but made by players. Minecraft did something similar.

the 2013 promo video is already pretty up-to-date. it does sound like an incredibly cool concept but we should likely wait a year or two
