Um. Okay, since I can't vote for myself nor can I think of any decent person to be a mod, let me give you some wise tips:
You shouldn't post who you're voting for in the forums. PM.
Being a mod is a lot of responsibility and isn't all about being popular.
Mods should probably be someone who is mature enough to handle inappropriate content and/or shock images. IE, not some sensitive 9 year old or something.
Mods also shouldn't be totally picked by the people. There should be a list of possible canidates at least.
Moderating is srs business.
Choose wisely.
And to copypaste what I said last election season:

So yea, guys, think it through, if you're not sure who to vote for, don't vote at all. Think it through. Don't be irrational and vote for someone with good art or lots of posts. THINK.

If it helps at all, I was one of two people I know of who was reporting all the inappropriate content. Chewy is the other person I know of. I think Danni did, too.

I hate inappropriate content. And all the gore stuff that those perverted people out there spam all over the internet. Btw, what specific responsibilities do mods have? Editing out swears, locking gravedug topics, warning people? That it or is there more?

Indeed we can, but swearing isn't a big rule, no one has been warned for swearing (recently), and no one will unless it's over excessive.

The the main reason we're looking for specific mods is because msot of us aren't actively visiting the EE and feedback sections, so they/re problematic   if no one reports bad posts.

We're essentially deciding the mods on our own, but asking the community who they think to help us choose.

The admins are going to decide who the two new moderators will be - we take in account how active they are, warnings, reports, and tons of other things.   We don't choose them based on how popular they are.   The nominations, of course, still have a big say in who gets chosen.   We may miss a potential candidate, and we wouldn't want that, now would we?
