Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Smiley size

This is a picture of a regular smiley zoomed in 7.5x.
Zoomedsmiley.png
If it was a square, it would be 16x16 pixels, same as any brick, but the top and left white edges of the smiley are able to pass 1 pixel into the edges of bricks for some reason, shown here.

Why?

EDIT: Is this supposed to be in bugs?

Re: Smiley size

I'm saying smileys can squeeze 1 pixel into the side of a brick.
That probably sounds more confusing, but I don't care.

Re: Smiley size

I noticed this earlier today when I placed a block right next to me (i wasn't in god mode) it shoved me out of the way a pixel or two.

Re: Smiley size

I was meaning to do this a while ago, but I kept forgetting.

Re: Smiley size

I have a theory.

The outlines for the smiley is not solid so the outlines can go on the solid block. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Re: Smiley size

If you wanted to make those tight fit things easier, you could just make the smileys a bit smaller. But that would make lots of things easier.

Re: Smiley size

Oh wait. The smiley is 1 pixel higher...

O.O

A bug I suppose.
(and you are standing 1 pixel to the left...)

But why it is overlapping I already said what I thought...

Edit:Its not the smiley who is bing bigger. It's the block over that is bigger then it should be.

Re: Smiley size

I'm on a gravity dot, so I can move around vertically. I don't have good enough timing to screenshot a jump.

Re: Smiley size

I do not think it's a bug!

It can be:
1. - Because when I programe my games, I never put all characters with solid, because if we put all character with solid, happens some errors in movimentation! So I think Chris dont put all character with solid for not give error!

or

2. - Other think is to facilitate gameplay!
