Accessing items with pop-up boxes without edit

i cant place it which is good but all i did it instead of space i hit ctrl and then i hit 3 (which was portal in my building blocks)
fix it

That's not very many. At this moment I have 47 open, earlier 180.
I'm sure there's people that have many more open at any given time, but 180 or so makes Firefox use about 5gb of memory.
