I don't mean to toot my own horn or anything, but I shortly before this blog post was made, I sent this email to Brian:

In any case, I feel like I might have slightly provoked him considering how he started the message. (Not trying to sound selfish or anything.)

Anyways, I'm sort of glad to hear this, I suppose. If they're going to be removing the worst bugs in EE, I suggest they remove lag completely. It really makes it a physical impossibility to play.

Better yet, make EE run at 1080p 60 FPS. That would be amazing. Too bad the game is only 16 bit.

By the way, has anyone considered if Mr. Shoe and Mr. Void's projects might have any relation to EE? I doubt it, but it is possible.

Im not sure how exactly that email would have helped bring updates... That would be annoying since he already gets a crap ton of emails from people begging for updates and telling him stuff that he already knows...

Oh definitely. But everyone who kept emailing him about not having an update for a year, and wanting new blocks...that didnt help.

From what I know bug fixes don't please many players and won't raise player amounts much.
Its the face that an update happens will bring back some players. (Hopefully)

I'm happy with anything. Bug fixes gives me that slight glimpse of hope, that maybe they will stick with it.

So their projects would've of lasted a year, and any of these projects monopolised their time so much that they couldn't even make a blog post or do an update.

Anywho, I suppose we'll just have too see what sort of improvements will be made, probably just bug fixes at the start then hopefully some updates!
