Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

lets have some maths

1) on how many nils does the number 100! ends?
2) How many times can you subtract 6 from 36?
3) How to explain 1+2+3...+100? What's the soltuion? Which formula is used?

Only 1 time, bcause the next time you will substract from 30,a nd not from 36. Who says "6 times" is silly. Who says "unlimited times" haven't got logic, but is smart

36-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=3036-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=30 36-6=30
What do you mean I can only do that once, you CAN do it infinite times.

0, because at some point you get (n-n), which is 0, so the rest is irrelevant. But I like sthegreat's answer more //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Re: lets have some maths

how many seconds are there in a year?
if you have a bike that was wheels of 2 inches in diameter and you ride it through a hectometer, how many full rotations of the wheel occur?
if you can ride the bike 6 miles per hour, how long does it take to go through the hectometer?
simplify x(xy)+y(x^(2y))+xy(6x-y).
you have a 6 by 12 rectangle and you round off the two sides with a perfect rounded edge. What's the perimeter/area of the rounded rectangle.

2 , 12 , 20-29

there are 12 "2" in year
there are 12 "12" in year
12 x 10 - 1 (29 feb)
there are 119 "20-29" in year
so..
133

There are 133.

Because it's not really realistic to ask actual math questions because everyone here is in different levels of math.

Re: lets have some maths

If sin(x) = 3/5 and sin(y) = 6/11 what are the values of sin(x+y) and tan(x+y) without using a calculator.

Asking for a friend.

Wow you're right this is so much better than math puns.

Re: lets have some maths

Do you like calculations? Then do this:

a) Think about 5.
b) Elevate it by 5, 5 times.
c) Take the result.
d) Elevate it by 5, the number of times being the result you got (c).
e) Take the result.
f) Elevate it by 5, again, the number of times being the result you got (e).
g) Keep doing this until you get to a total of (c) calculations.
h) Take the result.
i) Do it all again, but replace every 5 with the result you got (h).
j) Take the result.
k) Do it all again, but use the (j) result.
l) Keep doing this until you get to a total of (j) operations.

I recommend you do this.

This is a false statement.

Re: lets have some maths

prove that please //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue We all know 2+2=4, but i get 5...
2+2 =
4-9/2+9/2 =
root{(4-9/2) ^ 2} + 9/2 =
root{16- 2* 4 * 9/2 + (9/2) ^ 2} + 9/2 =
root{16-36+(9/2)^2} + 9/2 =
root{-20+(9/2)^2} + 9/2 =
root{25-45 + (9/2) ^ 2} + 9/2 =
root{5^2 - 2 * 5 * 9/2 + (9/2)^2} +9/2

and here it goes... Befor we had
root{16- 2* 4 * 9/2 + (9/2) ^ 2} + 9/2 =
now:
root{5^2 - 2 * 5 * 9/2 + (9/2)^2} +9/2

then we get:
= root{(5-2/9)^2} + 9/2 =
5 - 9/2 + 9/2 =
5

This makes sence, where is my mistake??
5 = 4 or what??

you have 36 banas, you give 6 away, you won't get 36 bannas, because 36 - 6 =30, not 36!! (Or if you give me a formula like above then i might belive you!)
