EE Community Project - Tagging blocks
Hi guys,
As shown in this thread, we are working on improving the block bar. After collecting feedback and we decided on some designs and tools (which can be seen here). As you can see on the bottom left of the picture, we are adding a quick search function.
This works by pressing F ingame, after which you can start typing to narrow down your search to only display the relevant blocks. It looks something like this:
As you can see, you can also search by colour. This is where we need your help. We would like to add a great amount of search terms so each block can easily be found. Things like colour, shape, pack name, but also similar words or general characteristics.
For example, searching for this: 
, you could add the following tags:
- flower
- sun
- yellow
- spring
- plant
We'd like to do this for each and every block (almost 700!).
How does this work?
1: Make sure you have a Google account
2: Go to this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ … sp=sharing
3: Read the rules below (and stick to them)
4: Request edit permissions in this thread. Add your EE username to your request.
5: Add tags
The rules
- Do not touch the images
- Do not touch the framework
- Don't delete stuff added by others
- Ignore the list of huge numbers, they're the blocks' colours' hex values
If you break the rules, as childish as it is, we'll have to permaban you from EE+forum. Plus we can just set back to a previous revision so trolling really has no point.
The guidelines:
- No need to add tags for block type (like deco, background, etc) or pack name because they will be added by default
- Part of each tag is also searchable, so if you add "mossy" there's no need to add "moss"
- You don't need to tag all blocks, just help out as much as you like
Jawapa, Zoey2070, and Nou are able to give you permission and will oversee the project. Thanks for helping out!
Also, as a warning, your name attached to your Google account will be visible.

Guys, please refrain from publicly sharing your email address in public places like these forums. The emails get picked up by spammers / hackers / bots and you can end up in trouble.
If the email is required (although I don't see NOU requesting this) please use private messages or other means of communication to transmit this data.
I have never thought of programming for reputation and honor. What I have in my heart must come out. That is the reason why I code.

they'll probrably use something as ''brown'' or ''dotted''
