Ashen: Signups and Discussion

a cooperative rpg sort of thing

build up and defend your village from hordes of monsters
or, choose to defect to a separate team and wage war against your former allies

more actions are revealed over time when playing through research
rules will be described in detail in game thread

this game may last for weeks or even longer, so please do not sign up if you are not dedicated
i will decide if replacements are necessary for inactivity

anyone is free to sign up as a substitute if both substitute slots are not filled

You should give the characters more character. Right now this game feels like a bot. Make a story line, give it more life. If someone quits the game make a good reason e.g. they were kidnapped while looking for stone. And when a character comes in give them a story as well e.g. A wild hunter stumbled onto the group and decided to help them survive and thrive.

I feel this would make the game a lot more interesting and could create more interesting events.

We can only use the actions provided. Hopefully the enemies won't do much damage or miss(?). Also, should the same people attack the enemies and other gather?

Also in general for attacking enemies, focus the enemies with lower health. By spreading out damage or focusing on enemies with higher health, you leave enemies alive longer and give the enemies more potential for shenanigans. By taking care of the lower health enemies first, you simply have less to deal with.

This is a very broad tip though, in some circumstances it might just be smarter to take care of the higher health enemy first. But as a general rule: Deal with weaker enemies first.

Also, if an enemy has 2 hp, don't be stupid and have 3 ppl attack >_>
