Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

They are the classic bolts from pretty much every incarnation of Frankensteins monster ever made.

That wasn't my impression at all. Shouldn't they be grayer, then? I would call them feet, right now.

I suppose the positioning on them is a bit off. I will see if I can correct this with the next update.

The first problem is that such a small detail on such a small image, wont even be visible (maybe only one pixel), the second problem is that it's a smiley, it doesn't have a neck. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue
I made a quick edit, just to see if I could of make it.

The one at the bottom is just an edit of his expression, added some wrinkles and ofcourse made his forehead much more visible.   //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

There isn't, it's all a matter of opinion.

With that said, I do like your approach to making the bolts. Because I didn't want to distract attention from the face itself too much, I opted for more subtle bolts as opposed to the ones you made, but it seems that my distaste for that size was unfounded. I'll take an extra look at the bolts and see if I can size them up and metal them up a bit, so to speak.

W-whats this? RPG agreeing with someone on a design? BAH! What has the world come to!

On a more serious note, RPG, take Sleepy's design and RPG it. But I personally, wouldn't give him credit in an update because then people will be all like WTF Y U NO MENTION ME? or Y U NO TAKE MY IDEA? Get it? It would be mass chaos if you did that, so I would just drop him a pm and tell him personally. But then sleepy would have to keep his/her mouth shut about the pm because then people would be like Y U NO PM ME? or Y U PM HIM AND NOT ME? So yeah, thats my two cents. *deposits cents in container* :3

I think it would look best without bolts at all. As smileys have no necks, bolts either end up looking like they're floating in mid-air or like little feet. Either way looks pretty strange to me.

Actually, this isn't the first time something like this has happened. The bird and postman smileys both have elements that I have credited to Gamer1120 and SmittyW respectively. The rules for adding user content goes something like "Original smiley are not okay, but polished versions of already existing smileys while integrating it with our stuff is fine". This is due to Everybody Edits being monetized now and we'd like to avoid legal issues.

Well, I personally dont care that much if RPG will put it on the game since I am working on my own game, so I have what to "deal" with by the graphics, I am usually making these in my free time.
Well, I haven't really make anything on Frankenstein's monster, more likely I just added some stuff and removed some stuff, so there is not much credit to give.

Also if he would send me a private message, how come that some one will now about, and let's say some one will, why would there be a reason to shout "Y U NO PM ME?!" ?
I dunno, if he will take my sprites( in this case Frankenstein's monster ) why would some-one shout "WTF Y U NO MENTION ME?", since what I made wasn't an idea, it was an edit, there would be no reason that some one will shout "Y U NO TAKE MY IDEA?" now, right?
And I am a male, I dont tell PRIVATE messages to anyone, you can count on that. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue
