Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

It's impressive how many plays a world with symbols can get.

But this is to arise confirmation.

I would like two participants in this study, to do the following:

Both must make a similar world.

One must create a name with any abnormal symbol in it (Usually done by WPE pro or bots), while the other must name their world something entirely different without.

During the period of this two week test, both must keep their worlds on the lobby (Using guest bombing if needed)

The two week area of the test begins after we have two participants to take hand in hand AND each have a world finished. To confirm both my findings, and others curiosity.

I will not take part, but I will say; You're doing this for not me, but the community in whole.

I'll participate! As the person without symbol in the name.

Lol, I like messing with unusual symbols, and making animations of it.
It's not much of a difference, you're just luring people with the "coolness" of diversity.

No need for the test. Anyone using Bots appeals to anyone playing EE (regardless of whether the players are interested in getting the bots or not). Anyone that's played Everybody Edits and tried to make a couple of levels will know that levels have a title character limit and only accepts letters and numbers. As such, anyone that sees a level with a name out of the norm is going to click it out of curiosity.

This will always apply so the level will always get more plays as result. It doesn't even matter if they're similar worlds because even if they're both terrible or both good, the one with symbols will get the higher number of plays.

If you're really doing this test, you should simply host two completely empty worlds with similar titles but one with a symbol. That would measure accurately which gets the higher number of plays based on the title alone.

Edit: Oh, and there's no point in guest bombing because that adds to the plays. You would have to guest bomb with the exact same number of guests and both parties' computers must stay on the entire time.
