The Guardians on Chat (Answers here!)

I have compiled a list of chat logs which should, I hope, answer most if not all of everyone's questions. If you do not want to read them I will post the most important points below.





Q: Why was the chat ban implemented?
A: This was not put in place to verify age, and this was not put in place because the guardians could not moderate chat. No further comment.
Q: How much does chat cost?
A: It was $3, but has since been lowered to $1.
Q: Can you get banned for buying someone else chat?
A: No. We can't ban you if we don't know who bought chat for who, and it would be a dumb thing to ban for anyways.
Q: Can you get banned for swearing?
A: It depends. If you swear a guardian will give you a verbal warning to not swear. If you continue to swear you will be kicked. If you profusely swear in the face of all the warning you may get a one day ban.
Q: What are the purpose of guardians without chat?
A: There are still some chatters, hackers, and trolls in EE.
Q: Can you get banned for trolling?
A: No, but you can get kicked by a guardian.
Q: Will chat ever be free again?
A: Maybe.
Q: When might chat be free again?
A: No comment.
Q: Do you think 4 guardians are still needed at this point?
A: We will see.

It's a very strong maybe, I've been told that the guardians are looking into better solutions for the chat problem. So I'm sure it won't be forever.
