Bot Creation 101

Hi there folks! Here's what i want to know!

1. Where do you get your bots from?
2. Is it safe?
3. Is there a tutorial on how to create the basics of a bot?

That's all i want to know basically. Also people also want to know where you get your robots so post here!

Edit: Just discuss about something about Bots and where you get them from. Thats all what this Topic is about.

1. From the people who make them. Look through topics in GD.
2. Yes. Most, anyway. There are some fake programs that will steal your password.
3. No, there isn't. The only tutorials related are C# and C++ tutorials that you can find with a google search.

Lol you need to learn what can take moths like me i learned script and now im makeing bots

Actully it's quite easy if you just want a simple say bot e.g 1st player says: "!bot" bot says : "Hello".
But if you want to find player names it gets compilicated.

P.s i may relsease a simple bot that just chats like !bot "hello" !marco "polo".

What so EE can be flooded with bots ?

2. Well, why would it be unsafe.
3. Read a c# tutorial for the basics(http://www.csharp-station.com/Tutorial.aspx), then you could try programming some small stuff first.

I am 99% certain that Gbot has no account collector ( well at least the one i have doesn't .

I never said other bots weren't safe, I said that if you make your own bot, it is almost 100% safe.

It will be linked to 1 level.   So if you don't like it leave.

No, what he meant was if you were to release such a worthless and pointless bot alike. EE would be flooded with spam crap.

Well not really months, Some can take a year or more but for some others it can take months. Also its not just all about learning C#, C++ and C, You also goto learn PlayerIO functions, Commands, The way things are sent to EE ETC.

Yes problary i use java, ad some othe rkind of scripts.

I'm currently working on my own bot from scratch, and so far so good. I've made several other C# programs, I caught on quickly, C# really isn't all THAT hard, but you need to know the structure of the language, classes, struts, etc. I've been working with C# for only a few months and I rather like it. I've always have loved to work with computers, when I was just 6 I got my first computer and all I did is use it almost all day on the weekends figuring out how to work it, I actually changed my background within a 1/2 hour. Half the time my parents are confused on what/how I'm doing something. I've also worked with batch scripts, html, php, vbscript, and a few other sorta-simple languages, so I really thought it mine as well be time to start learning real programming, and that's what I did. The first thing I wanted to do was make a bot because I thought "Hey, that sounds like fun!", but then I thought "Well, it would be dumb to just learn a language to make just a bot". So I went off, did more research, and I've made several programs already. But what I'm trying to say is, to make a bot, you need to be able to understand how the programming structure really works, and to mentally realize that programming is no fun if you are just going to use it to make 1 thing, so remember, set your priorities straight. If you learn C#, don't go off and just make a bot, but instead, explore the possibilities, because it really is a powerful language, you can even port it to Android (with the right software). please add !addadmin or make a script where u put the admins (they can use !kick and !save level and loadlevel)
and u can make a script to mods (they can do anything except banning/kicking the host)
