Noobs

The sudden influx of noobs brought by the competition is annoying. They make stupid topics and ask questions in the general discussion. So i beg of you, anyone who reads this who was signed up in October/November, think before you post.

Agree. Also, this number of people also got the noobs to see the "Give EE your suggestions!" button making even more people get accounts just to say

i wish that during a contest you have to read the rules before each post to avoid an onslaught of nubs.

Nope, they will just go: ARG I HAVE TO READ RULES AGAIN LEMME CLICK OK AGAIN *posts* *gets 23 -reps* *gets banned* *people who -repped him rage because the rep was useless* *forum gets more spammier*.
Anyone have another idea?

maybe instead of the rules, we just have a few tips on not getting warnings and not annoying people. reminders like no asking for chat, no gravedigging, make your posts meaningful, no advertising.

No, problably not, because youngsters' parents encourage them like this:

Kid: It says "I have read and agree to the rules" with a check by it mom.
Mom: It's fine just press check and press Submit

temporary mods that are only mods when we have a contest. that can control some spam.

I'm pretty sure most of the advertising was done by rpgmaster2000. He's the one who posted it on the blog.

did you honestly just say that
1 they post usless comments
2 they think stairs are good
3 they dont read the rules
4 they think they are fans of ee but they know nothing
5 they try entering crews saying " i hav a gud lvl PLZ LOK AT IT" and its stairs
6 if not 5 then they say "can i join i can do pixal art"
7 coming from 6 they their pixal art is good when its just a small crystal
8 also coming they dont know what a real lvl is
9 they flood everybody edits so all the top lvls are "cool stairs" or "super cool boss to code"
10 they think they have a chance in contests and things
11 they dont know how to spell
12 they never listen

is that enough reasons, that is whats wrong with noobs
and if people are gonna look at the date i joined the forum ive been playing ee alot longer but i just never bothered with stuff like the forum or blog before
