LOL. Forums working or not?

I searched on google for something, opened the forums AND THEY WORKED. I logged in and seem to be the first one to be online after that downtime. But is that forum up or did i just somehow got around the block?

Simple version: A few spambots signed up on many forums. Those spambots all spammed a lot. The server couldnt handle that, so I spent all of my free time the past few days manually deleting forums which had been overtaken by spam. I'm still working on deleting more of them but in theory we should be good to go for a while.

Well I'm still working on clearing empty/spam/dead forums. We may never reach the end of that while, and hopefully the forums will be up for a very long time indeed.

I was wondering if you had noticed that, I kept getting alerts that ten members with the same username template joined up and already had ten posts, an avatar, and a signature, all linking to Cheap louis vuitton purses.

It's weird, but I now feel pretty detached from the forum. I mean, I checked every couple days, but now that it's back up, I'm just like, "meh, whatever."

Cyclone, I still can't make a forum on Forumify myself and it says the old forums are still getting pruned at. What's going on?

It has begun. the Plan for world domination. Starting with forums and then going from there. It's ingenious.

But still, Grats on cleaning the forums. you don't get thanks for it much, Mostly crap for them going down.
