If you're new to the EE Forums, this is the place to be. This topic will give you an A-Z introduction to the EE Forums!

A. Administrators - Do not ask to become an administrator (administrator for short) or a mod (short for moderator). You only can become an admin/mod if the current ones want you to be. Do NOT make topics or posts asking to be one: You will just get in trouble.
Autoplay - Autoplaying YouTube videos are against the rules of the forums (and just plain annoying).
Avatar - An avatar is a small image attached to the side of your posts. It can be just about anything, as long as it doesn't break any rules. Don't know what to put in your avatar? You'll find a range of avatar makers in the Creative section (myself included ).

B. Ban - A ban is when you are blocked from accessing the forums. You've got to break quite a few rules to get this.
Banhammer - When you get banned from the forums, you've been banhammered.
BBCode - Here's all you need to know about BBCode (how to format posts).
Bots (1) - Do NOT, and I repeat NOT, raid the forums with bots (programs that perform tasks automatically) spamming advertisements (or anything, for that matter). Or EVERYONE, and I repeat, EVERYONE, will hate you. You'll also be banned.
Bots (2) - Bots can also refer to programs that perform tasks in Everybody Edits. They can be fun to use, but you cannot post links on the forums.
Bullying - Don't bully people, it's not nice, and you'll get banned.

C. Common Sense - Before you hit send, think. Put yourself in someone else's shoes. Would you report what you said? Would you give yourself a negative reputation? Think before you act, it's common sense.

D. Don't Do It! - A list of things NOT to do in-game.
Downtime - When something online is inaccessible. The forums have gone through a lot of that.

E. Edit - When you post something and you want to change it, just edit your post by, well, clicking the "Edit" button under it.

F. Friendly - Try to be nice to everyone. Don't use vulgar language at someone you've fallen out with, even if they are. Just use the reputation system.

G. Grammar - Don't use bad grammar (sentence structure)! It is classified as spamming, and you'll be disliked and warned.

I. In-Game Suggestions - Post any suggestions for the game here.

J. Jokes - Mods take joking seriously, don't joke on the EE forums. You will be banned! Nah, I'm joking. [MOD EDIT] BANHAMMER...Permabanned.

K. Keep It Appropriate! - There are many young people on this forum, and we don't want to see pictures of people with their heads smashed apart. Well, I do, but most young people don't.

L. Locked Topics - When a topic is for some reason not suitable to discuss or has run its course, it is locked and moved to the Topic Graveyard.

M. Messages - You can send people private messages (abbreviated as PMs) by clicking the "PM" button to the left of one of their posts. Don't send people rude PM's, you can get warned and banned. When you receive a PM, a notification will appear above the advertisement at the top of the screen.
Moderators - See Administrators

N. Names What you go by, what people will call you. Before you set your username - in the game or on the forums - think. You might want to use something imaginative or clever, but not something like AWsMguYZ12338 or iambetterthanu: Names are the first thing people see about you and will serve as a first impression.
O. Obvious - If it isn't in the rules, doesn't make it an excuse to do it. Some things aren't in the rules, but are obviously going to get you banned/warned.

P. Permaban - A permaban is when you are permanently banned from using the forums.
Profile - Every user has a profile (accessible by clicking their username). There, they can change all sorts of things, from signatures to locations.

Q. Questions - Ask any questions you still have here! (Thanks to Deetz for this entry)

R. Reporting - This topic will tell you when and when not to report a post/topic.
Reputation - If someone says something you like/dislike, you can edit their reputation using these buttons found under their name. http://www.webpagescreenshot.info/i/425 … 2252pm.png The green + is good, the red - is bad.
Rules - The first step in becoming an EE Forumer is reading these rules.
S. Signatures - A signature is a small piece of text that is attached to the bottom of your posts. In it, you can enter just about anything you like. Don't know what to put in your signature? You'll find a range of signature makers in the Creative section (myself included ).
Stickies - When a topic is good, or useful, a mod will sticky it (pin it to the top of the section it's in). (Maybe one day a mod will sticky this!)

T. Topic Placement - Look here if you don't know what section of the forums your topic belongs under.

U. Updates - Don't ask mods/admins what the next update will be. They either don't know or won't tell you. (Not even if you ask very politely)

V. If anybody can think of something to put under "V", they get a +rep

W. Warning System - When you do not follow the rules, a warning is given out. The purpose of warnings are to get rid of rule breakers.
1 Warning - safe
2 Warnings - be careful
3 Warnings - 1 day ban
4 Warnings - 1 week ban
5 Warnings - 1 month ban
6 Warnings - permaban
So be careful!

Y. You - You are the most important part! You, the Everybody Edits player and forum member, help keep this game and community alive!

Z. If anybody can think of something to put under "Z", they get a +rep

Also, X:

X - eXample: You have to set a good one! If you need to follow someone's example, people with high reputation normally give good ones (except Arceus64, that ****).

On a note, I love how in year/grade 1 you learn the alphabet with simple words like cat, dog, pedophile then you get to X and it's Xylophone because they cant think of anything else, I mean how random.

It's either x-ray of xylaphone lol. None of them really begin with an X sound. X ray is pronounced ex ray, and xylaphone is pronounced zylaphone.
