Hey, is this me or my imagination?

I quit EE for a while, came back, and it seems that all the smiles are "Sharper" Like they have more detail.. I'm confused?

It is true, RPGMaster2000 did polish some of the smilies as what SquadFS said.

Pure speculation, of course.   Just because it was made doesn't mean that it will come out in the next update.   Plus, an update without it just happened.   Don't guess and assume you're right.   When you assume, you make an **** out of you and me.
