I, Zoom, have noticed an increase in the amount of levels with invisible portals. I do not really like this idea, because it often makes levels more confusing not knowing when and where you are going to teleport. I am requesting that people please stop using them, because I know that they are not an in game feature and are in fact made using bots (Which I also do not think we should use)

All I ask is to just place the portal so I can see it. It's not that hard, and i'd really appreciate me better if I could actually understand what I'm supposed to do in a level.
P.S. I, Zoom, am also trying to limit my third person speech for those who do not like the way I speak.

Most people place different backgrounds to show where are you going to teleport. They prefer to use invisible portals and do this instead of using the regular portals, simply because it adds a nice effect.

Such as MIHB's Dream, he made a intelligent use of the invisible portals that resulted in a completely different gameplay from the other levels.

They have various other good uses, but I'm not going to refer them all.

I, Zoom, am not a "retard" as you say and I am only stating my opinions. This is a forum for general discussion and I am making discussion. I do not think people should use invisible portals. There is a reason they are not in the game. They are really annoying, even when they are pointed out. I would rather just be able see the portal.

No one is forcing you to play levels with invisible portals, if you don't like them, then don't play the level. Who are you to tell people what they can and can't put in there levels? If they want bots, they can make bots. If they want invisible portals, they make invisible portals. Point is, no one is forcing you to play them.

@Jaybm your point is taken, but it seems to me that there has been an increase in the amount of levels with invisible portals, and even though I do not like them I still like to play in levels in general. If all good levels started using invisible portals (ie. Crew Levels, and some solo maps) then I would be left with nothing but stairs and chat to code (which always get trolled).

I am assuming I am not the only one who agrees that EE should not have any bots in general, but I don't like the invisible portal one in particular.

So in short, even though no one is forcing me to play such levels, it would be nice to at least have some good levels to play because I, Zoom, do enjoy playing a variety of levels.

I, Zoom, realize it will probably not completely solve the issue, but I am moreover trying to bring awareness to the issue. Even if some people do not view it as an issue, I do, and therefore and just trying to be informative on my point of view. I am not telling people to agree I am just asking them to see my point of view for a moment and possibly re-consider their decisions.

And also, the forum community is only a small part of the EE community. If you convice the forum community (and I don't think anyone can) you're will always find almost the same amount of levels with invisible portals.

don't worry about sprremix, zoom, he's just some newbie jerk. although it is true that it's hard to take you seriously when you're always starting with "i, zoom" and talk in third person and stuff like that. its not like we forgot who you were after you said it a few sentences ago :S. anyways, there's very little that can be done about invisible portals because mostly non-chat stair noobs do it and there's few on these forums. good luck trying though.

It seems like most of the community has already seen this as an issue before and didn't care at all.
There's plenty of people whom are aware of it being "unfair", but look at it this way,

The owner of the level should be fully able to make his level whatever he/she wants regardless of the
consequences; even if that consequence is other people thinking it's unfair.

It's the level owner's choice of what he/she wants to do with her/his level(s), if you can't accept that
at least acknowledge that the majority of this forums' users may not consent to your silly judgments.

My only problem with this topic:

I, DylanDaSkater, have noticed your statements are false. For one, they are NOT all made from using bots due to the fact before Doh had released his "EETrollerLight" bot I have had invisible portals in my level months before the release of that bot. I know you are not an in game feature so play the game, if you have a problem, dont complain, just dont play.

@Zoom I totally agree with you! I wish EE was botless. Does anybody remember back in the day when bots were actually rare? -.- It was an HONOR to see a bot :0! Everyone went crazy. Now there are all kinds of bots, and instead of hyping us up, it just decreases our creativity. :I We can just program it and it can happen! What ever happened to creativity, and using what you already got? MrShoe just made it worse by releasing a bunch of new blocks that resemble actual things. I think we already had enough blocks. Why not just release new features instead of block skins? Jeez, MrShoe.
