But what is it? Is it "generic minecraft ripoff #6294" or is it something interesting and fun to play?

It’s still early days for the game and they claim to have big ambitions for it. But so far it just seems like building and some crafting but without the survival. I’m yet to see anything that makes this game a unique experience compared to not only Minecraft but also the plethora of other voxel games that are out there.

To be fair EE started out as a basic experiment for chris to test out playerio

So I guess we'll just have to see what they come up with

I suppose, but at least EE was mostly a new and fresh experience.
This new game just seems like a shoddy Minecraft copy, and I don't see it evolving much outside of that. But I'd genuinely like to be proven wrong!

Yeah I feel the same way

Right now it's nothing special, but we'll just have to wait and see if chris has any ideas to make it something viable

A couple of things that are kind of neat about it so far is
  - The URL changes depending on your location in the world, so to share your location/builds etc you can just copy/paste the URL
  - I like how you change the textures by dragging the file onto the browser window - if there was more customisability that was super easy for the regular user to figure out, that'd be pretty neat imo

i think right now it starts wiht some ripoff of minecraft and that late rhe adds features to it that mkes it less like minecraft lets wait for it
