i doubt a fully playable game can be made before december of this year. what’s going to happen if we don’t even have a game anymore?

Besides, in the unlikely event that the new game isn’t finished by that deadline they’re just going to continue working until it is. And if it’s never finished well then that’s your answer: no more EE or official EE games.

The process of beginning to phase out Flash will start January 2020, and will be completed by December 2020. This means it probably won't instantly lose support, it'll just slowly get progressively more difficult to play.

Also, the closed beta (which we're now really close to) is probably one of the stages that could be shortened should we need to, there isn't all that much that must be done before we move to open beta. We've had a playable game for a few months now, we'd just need to set up the rest of the infrastructure needed to run the game at a larger scale, and fix any major bugs, and if we really needed to we could release the game and it would be playable, albeit with a lack of content.

That said, we'd really rather not do this. Shutting down EE and moving to EEU before it is fully ready probably won't put us in the best situation. We'd rather wait until EEU is more enjoyable to play than EE, otherwise people will end up wishing they could play EE instead, which will turn quite a lot of people away from the game.

So yeah, if Flash was properly shut down half way through the beta we'd probably be fine, it'd just not be as smooth of a transition as we'd like.

I just rip all the swfs and play them on my laptop locally. , multiplayer's going to die though.
Anything with protection that prevents you from playing you just edit the client and bypass the protection, unless they release a playable version like I've been waiting for all my favorite nitrome games.

I really HATE Papa Pizzeria flash game. It was disgusting and I didn't like the gameplay at all, felt like I had to memorize everything... I don't know how to feel, forced probably?

I'm surprised they still made similar papa games like vegetables, ice creams, etc.

yeah guys a question since liek 1-2 days my chrome says flash dies in decemebr 2020 blah blah blah and then says switch off i just click the banner away wiht the X to the right of it i belive it only asks it when turnign on my pc but i coudl check if it asks the same if i reopen my browser hold on a minute

EDIT it says flash player isnt suported as of decemebr 2020 (tralsted my own) and then there is a blue button wiht switch off im noot pressing it and im just pretenting nothign is goign to happen by clickign the X

What I remember is flash going to be removed from the webbrowsers. Because it's no longer supported 2020.
This mean that you still can play flash games in other ways. But it's not supported anymore. And no more updates.
So when the support ends, who knows how many EK it will come out.
