A speedrun is a play-through (or a recording thereof) of a video game performed with the intention of completing it as fast as possible. Speedruns may cover a whole game or a selected part, such as a single level. (Wikipedia)

In this thread I will keep track of your times for any given world you may submit, and everyone else is challenged to beat any time by any player. To submit a time, simply post it in this thread by providing either a video as evidence or photographic evidence (a screenshot of a stopwatch and the game). The speedruns are not limited to the worlds already listed in this thread, you may speedrun ANY WORLD.

There are two rules:
1. Don't cheat. We're doing this for fun, you're not going to win anything, you're not going to appear in your local newspaper for getting the world record in the Tutorial. You can do this for fun or to improve your skills in Everybody Edits, but you're not going to get any rewards, so don't even bother cheating. If you're caught cheating however, you will be blacklisted and all your times will be removed from this thread.
2. Don't submit jokes (i.e. a world with the trophy right below the spawn)

Q: Hey, this is cool, I want to speedrun a level, what can I use?
A: If you want, you can record yourself playing using software like Open Broadcaster, if you want something simple you can use one of these options:

• A random online stopwatch (not recommended).

• Online EE Stopwatch by EEJESSE.

• Everybody Edits stopwatch bot by ZELDAXD.

Q: What does "Any%" mean? Are there any other categories?
A: Speedruns are categorized into various levels of completion, or how thoroughly a game is completed, which are as follows:

• Any%, or fastest completion, refers to completing the game as quickly as possible, and often involves sequence breaking.

• 100%, or full completion, requires the player to complete the game to its fullest. This often includes collecting all key items (i.e. all coins) or upgrades, finding all secret features, or anything else that may be deemed important. Specific requirements for a 100% speedrun are different depending on the world.

• Low%, fastest completion of the level with the least amount of key items possible (i.e. no coins)

These three (Any%, 100%, Low%) are the three main categories for speedruns, but there may be other categories too (i.e. Cake% (get cake as fast as possible), Hologram%... etc).

Note: only top 5 times are included in this thread.

I would also recommend you guys to use LiveSplit a tool that real speedrunners use.

Under 25 by jumping to the is possible by jumping from the first timed door to the second and directly to the switch. This level is crappy to run because of the timed doors, but if you get to them at a good pace, there is a good chunk of time to be saved if you hit it.

Similar to level 2, this level is awful to run because it's unreliable. The huge skip with the portals at the start is not only precise--but completely random due to portals sharing the same ID.

Barrel Cannon Canyon

Category: Low%

Ignore the white smudge on the screen and don't mind the lag... can't do anything about it.

Not a perfect run as I think this can go down to 55 s with doing some skips faster by removing setups and hitting some jumps like the one at 0:47. I'd try for lower, but stringing all of these together is rough enough to do already.

p.s. timed doors are bad
