uncap world portals

jet's making a world and they need 1276 of them (or like 200 with some unconventional awkward methods) for it.

is there a reason they're limited in the first place?

Its possible to make a system that saves switches throughout worlds but that would require a different world portal for each different combination of switches. As you add more switches that need to be saved, the amount of world portals needed goes up exponentially. And some other things I guess.

i making rotate game, and if they would be uncaped, i would do only 4 huge worlds, instead 10 mediums and 20 larges
world portals are like portals on a key, but they reset progress, and this is thier biggest disadvantage
i think it's not necessary to make them free but if they would have option to teleport with moveable progress, it would be possible to use much less of them

IMO, this could be solved by adding a checkbox option to the world settings that would enable purple switch state carryover when using your own world portals. I could understand the hesitation to implement something like this: there's already active problems with the world portals involving /reset, and allowing purple switch state carryover could potentially cause more problems. It would be nice to at least see something like this implemented in EEU.

coins rather not, unless you teleporting to the same world,
maybe deaths, effects, special smilleys, effects or/and teleportation count, (and personal switches), but most of them could be just replaced by switch and special place for spawn point
if there would be added an option to teleport to the same world without loosing any progress, it finally would be easy to make interactive portal, just for interaction

yes, but a lot of the time you won't want to transfer most of the switches, and having to build a huge resetter to reset everything else seems annoying

this... actually seems incorrect to me. a lot of the time most of the switches that i'd need resetting are ones that get reset more often than just when you go through the portal, so i'd need the resetter anyway.

Yeah, I agree. Creating a separate switch type would be confusing and pointless. If someone were to use red switches, I would assume that's all they'd use, as I see no reason for anyone to use a mix of both.

Honestly, the only ideas I have are what I mentioned before about making it a world setting, and making it another option on the world portal itself. Whatever the case, it should be restricted to your own worlds only to prevent cheating.

Well yes, in a lot of the cases where you're just doing it because one world isn't large enough then yes, you'd want to transfer most of the switches, but in cases where the worlds are seperate but linked (like a 'lobby' world and a load of seperate worlds you can play), you'd only want a few switches (e.g. for which worlds you've played and which ones you haven't)

what about in the world portal you select what to save (click button fo rextra menu when worl dportal is selected) will i tbe deaths coins B-coins or any swtich that is toggled you just fill in th enumbers form ids that needs ot be transformed or you sellect ALL for temas same

maybe do a special button, "teleport to the same world with all progress", that allows you to save coins and others, doesn't need to load world again... that makes this portal only "interaction portal"
or instead of making a special button, just look if the world portal target is the same as your world, and that would unlock that button
or change how reset points work, and allow them to reset only some of progress, like only deaths/ switches/ blue coins/ position/ checkpoints/ god mode/ crown
