if you're wearing men's underwear then it's not crossdressing since it's made for your gender

memery and **** aside, crossdressing feels good because it enables one to "play" with gender expression. people might like how it's considered a taboo. also women's and men's clothing is tailored differently so it can feel different. women's clothing is typically tighter and more "form fitting" whereas men's clothing has deeper pockets or is looser. also dresses are nice

I know. My point is that there's no need for a male to wear silk panties since there's silk men's underwear. It doesn't make sense for a man to wear women's underwear because of differences in anatomy.

Perhaps it's because I don't really pay much attention to my gender in general, but I don't see the point of that. There are loads of helpful ways to rebel against society and crossdressing isn't one of them.

Maybe I have a stricter definition of crossdressing, but I wouldn't consider it crossdressing if a person wears opposite-gender clothing while still mostly appearing as their own gender. Just look at these guys. Also, I would be really surprised those rules applied to all clothing.

I guess I'm assuming that the average person wants to help others. Either way, I'd still argue that being rebellious or offensive for the sake of feeling good is vain and empty, much like swearing. If you or anybody you know is fulfilled by crossdressing, please let me know about it.

it's only "rebelling" because people think it is. it's clothes yo. some people wear lace panties and makeup because it makes them feel good. some people wear matching bras/underwear that no one's gonna see because it makes them feel good. some people wear the "other" gender's clothes because it feels good. if it makes them happy and it's not harming anyone else, then why does it matter?

I'm just trying to understand why people do it since this topic sparked my curiosity. Nobody's given me a specific reason why wearing clothes meant for the other (traditionally recognized) gender feels good.

Overeating makes some people happy and doesn't harm anybody else, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing to do. Hedonism alone doesn't always work. Without some cosmic reason to back it up it's on the same level as any other philosophy.
