its just a ripoff of teamwork contest now

i want to, yknow, actually pick my teams?? and have more than 2 people?

Leave it to Oray to make another brash decision without even consulting me first.
No, Oray, when i said that we are allowing teams, what i mean is people can CHOOSE who their partner will be, with the option of going solo if they desire. Not be randomly matched with someone they might not even like with no choice other than to deal with it or flake out.
I don't wanna create another team work contest trainwreck.
Its always fun when you are at school and can't talk with Oray about the contest and then he does something like this. Please just. Consult me first.

suggestion:

actually fix scoring system

dont ask for type of player, it doesnt matter at all

allow people to choose teams and have up to 4 or 5 per team

listen to the judges

The point is that isn't what we want. This contest was actually interesting and somewhat unique before they ruined it with forced random teams.

I actually made some changes, now players could choose their team, their team would be max 3 players, or they can work solo.

Guys, as far as you know, Oray is really stressed out hosting this contest since this is his first time handling a contest. We really need some cooperation and some polite sign up registrations replies. We expect for more participations and your cooperation. No more jokes in this topic please.

In fact in my country we have some different system in school, I'm on my last year so I have to prepare well for SAT, I have re-organised my time so I can do a contest and make players glad for participating in this contest,
When I first posted the topic it was 11 PM in my time and I had a to catch a class at 6 AM so I wrote it as fast as I can, and if you notice I'm not playing Everynody Edits much, I'm so sorry for the changes that happened..
Well I don't want to tell you the story of my life but I'd like to mention that I'm pretty busy in real life.. Excuse me for the contest mistakes, I just hope you to participate and have fun in the contest

Well, there are still problems

-art is worth 40 points
-you're taking minimap art into consideration and its worth as much as gameplay (what happens if the map is disabled? -20 points?)
-Luka said that you'd focus on what the players are good at, but you can't do that when you're using a point scale, unless you're just more lenient with the other scores... which isn't fair because someone could say that they were focusing on concept/creativity, which is worth 10 points, then get easier points for gameplay, minimap art, ingame art, and minigames.

-You removed the rule where other people can't help, can I get people outside my team to help?
-"Your world must be 200x200 or bigger" why?
-You're grading "Minigames" and "Gameplay"... what's the difference?

I recommend not doing a point scale, it won't work unless you get the scores JUST right. Usually what'll end up happening is a world you kinda liked will get 1st, wheras a world that you absolutely loved won't even place. Don't let a number tell you which level is better than another

-Re-read the edition of the topic, you would notice that i removed it.
-Full sign-up details.
-You could do the theme as you want, you could even do a ruined ship under the water, or as you gave the picture.
-Coop levels aren't allowed, thanks for reminding I'll add this rule.
-Actually we can't just say a judge at a player that he helped, but if we SAW a player helping a team who's outer the team, the team and the player (if he had a team or he worked solo) will be disqualified both.
-The players have a month to build a level, in another question: Why not?
-Will change points for the last time, so art and minigames both will have 30 points so it would be fair.

I already told you that you should post in the other topic to write any opinion about this contest, listen, I'm not against you at all, thank you for trying to help, but most points are understandable I think.

If there were not much contesters I'll have to close the topic and end the contest with no winners, so I hope people to join the contest.

But why? Outside helpers don't get gems, so it's purely out of the goodness of their heart. Also, what constitutes as helping? If I ask someone to test and give feedback, do I get disqualified?

rip wide and ultrawide worlds. Also, long levels can get tedious, so I don't want the judges to get bored. "hurr durr if its good they wont" after judging a bunch of worlds the judges might appreciate a short and sweet level
