Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

New hazard

I want a hazard that's not like a half block, but a full block. I was thinking spike block or cube whatever.

Re: New hazard

Spikes aren't half blocks. They actually affect the entire block it's just that their sprite and hit box of the smiley makes it appear that it only affects half the block.

Oh yeah. Well, but it doesn't look pleasant enough for using as a full block. I added a sample image

Re: New hazard

Personally I'd like to see new variants of the spikes containing different lengths (just the sprites not hit boxes), corner spikes, different details and mid air block spikes. I'm fairly certain all of this has been suggested a multitude of times before.

no. what i'm saying is that physcis are different here.

You touch spikes/fire ionly when you enter the block (more than 50% of your body is there in one dimension).

Full block on the other hand kills you when your body just touches it.

Optimally the diagonal spikes should reach all the way to the edge, so it's clear the hitbox is one full block

It'd fit in with the Brick and Basic blocks being ripped off from Mario

Idk why you're complaining about it looking like the mario spike block

this game needs to not be a big rip off of mario/other games...
