eh having effects with no indication as to what is causing it isn't very helpful to new players who are just learning the mechanics imo

It isn't very helpful for veteran players either since invisible gravity and blocks are already bs and un-fun as they are. Making them completely invisible would just make them even more of an annoyance.

Correction: Invisible gravity already ruins any mini, parkour, boss or other event requiring player movement for completion.
If this suggestion were never used in those scenarios I'd be all for it.
