Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Energy to Gem Conversion

Many players who are older have nothing to spend their energy on, I have around 80 worlds consisting of only 300x300 and 200x400. Even if the energy to gem conversion was insane I am sure people would prefer to spend their energy getting gems instead of getting more worlds.

New players can also get things they really want from the classic tab too which is also good.

Thoughts?

Re: Energy to Gem Conversion

I think it'd significantly undercut the value of gems, which is quite literally the only thing that pays for the game enough for it continue to run.

I thought about that too until I thought about campaigns and daily logins. Even if it was 1 gem for 1K energy I'd rather do that than have 100 of each world

Re: Energy to Gem Conversion

How about increase the amount of gems you get for the same price of real money. Like instead of 50 gems for 5 $ you get 75 for 5$. Then you make gems cost 1000 energy each. (the price will encourage people to buy if they cannot wait that long or will have to be forced to play for along time)

^ Terrible post. Downwooted.

And on topic, I have max energy saved up in every single world, smiley, and block without buying them. I don't want any more world portals, i have over 30.

It would have to cost more than that...
For the game to keep making money, you shouldn't be able to have sustained gold membership for free, and I think you could at that price. It should then probably be doubled in price after that too, so gold membership doesn't end up costing $5 a year or whatever

Edit: Ok, done some maths, you get around 17500 energy per month, which means that at 1000 energy per gem, you could get 17.5 gems a month, which could almost completely remove EE's source of income (just for comparison, you can get around 8.7 gems per month from daily rewards).
This would mean that almost any number of energy would either lead to people not buying gems, or gems almost never being bought, so this probably shouldnt be added.

How am I supposed to keep up with all those name changes they went through?

We have mods and guardians, that's all.

they should be expensive. like, crew item expensive or huge world expensive. 4000 to 6000 energy.

Re: Energy to Gem Conversion

honestly due to the nearly dead state of the game the gems have already inflated pretty much
players that have bought all classics and beta have nothing to spend them on (gold membership is a joke, unless you want support the game but that is real $$$s not free gems; as for name changes, well, doesnt really work as a gem sink, neither the diamond or big spender, again, viable with $$$s only)
so yeah for these players gems are worth literally nothing
introducing a cheap way to get free gems, such as this one, will drop their value even more (implying its not zero already)
