Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Like the normal reset block but no need to press y; you reset as soon as you touch it.
Got coin? Missed the jump? Too bad. No coin for you. Do it again but better this time.
Could be useful for certain types of switch mechanics or to annoy you when you're about to complete the world. Bam, rage for you.
Not really needed:
Would be nice anyway since it's more efficient and flows nicer and of course is more noob friendly (except how people could abuse it).
But yeah, force reset. Love it, hate it; just don't touch it.

Should it be a whole new block or a "morph" of the original? From white to red but only red is forced.

I'd probably say a whole new block, but it could work as a morph also. Though I would like to see different morphs of current blocks such as blood coated spikes and different fire textures / animations.

there should be some sort of limitations cause it'd be quite annoying in some cases when a friend of yours with edit places a force reset on you
obviously you will say "dont give him edit then" but on the other hand one annoying force reset is not enough of a big deal to remove edit from a friend
what about making it owner only?

Very good point; either that or make it so that it does not remove god or edit, but you suggestion is far superior.
