It's attacking indiscriminately, it has no set targets. Since big corporations are really homogeneous though, if it can slip inside at all it will often infect the whole thing leading to big news about a company going down.

Why not? What have you tried and what didnt work?
You should always be able to install a new version of an operating system independant of what hardware you have (unless it is 50 years old or something)
