Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

hello i am the egglord and my belief is that people should stop arguing because it is a 100% certain weather that the Egg Party will win
you see our team of data scientists have just performed a major secret operation and it is 100% certain that the Egg Party will be the true winner
The Egg Party is extraordinarily beneficial not only to Everybody Edits, but to the world as well
you see, we've come up with an organized hierarchy composed of 4 stages, and a "Five Government Departments" idea
this is really great because then we can control the people, and the people have control over themselves too
think about it this way: there is a supreme leader that watches over five departments
those five departments watch over the people
then the people watch over the supreme leader
it's like a cycle
everyone is in control, but no one actually is in control
of course this doesnt pertain to EE because my true goal is not to take over EE but to take over the world
however, since I do want to win the EE election, i will give everyone a statement for them to ponder over:
If you crack an egg over a hot plate, will it fry or die?
!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!

Now that won't do will it? I respect the rights of the team of scientists however real scientists would know that science is cumulative and has to be shared in proper format for inheritance of next generations. I will require a formal proof and a list of appendix with citations to recent articles, books and other viable sources.

This is by far the least efficient cycle I have ever heard of. The cycle is dedicated for steady state usage yet it has no startup mechanism that will push it. Also the uniform flow process during the time being would disrupt the balance of the final equilibrium, causing a huge amount of error. You can't just run around not acknowledging Clausius inequation and blabbering cycles that are "intended" to work. Have a look at a real cycle, such as the glorious Ideal Rankine Cycle. It may greatly inspire you and help you improve your cycle.

well mr asurch you have forgotten that this is an egg species you are talking about we function the best in steady state usage
this missing startup mechanism is our holy egglord you see he is a being that existed for tens of years much longer than us eggs so we worship him
we are pushed to acknowledge the fact that in this way everything will be a-ok and world domination will become certainalso that rankine cycle you linked IS NOT APPROPRIATE BECAUSE STEAM IS BANNED HERE IT COOKS EGGS WE ARE FRAGILE NO STEAM HERE

Whats the best way to earn money?
Well pay-to-play can work, but i fear you will lose a good chunk of players by doing so. Here is a chart of how many people choose a free game version or a version you have to pay.
People are more likely to try something free, rather than something that even costs 1 dollar.
So forcing players into buying to play is pretty dumb.
Here are a few ideas:
-Discounts
I was gonna suggest this myself, but since it was nighttime when this question was asked and i was beat to it.
Discounts on pretty much anything will bring people in. Any person who was ever at Target or WalMart agrees.
So, if something is uncommon/ not selling, give it a discount and instant profit.
-Lower the prices entirely
A permanent price drop can be a great way for us to earn some extra money, even if it is smaller.
-Special days
There are ton of moments during the year where you can advertize whatever fits for that day.
1. Black Friday
2. Almost every holiday
3. Special events (EE's birthday i.e.)
4. Very huge updates whit items people craved for who knows how long.
-Advertizing
Preferably both type of advertizments, advertizments to spread EE's existence
And ads on the EE site to earn some extra cash from ads.
Cant hurt.

What do you think is the best way for Everybody Edits to raise money? Is the current system fine, should it be altered in some way, or should it be replaced with a new proposal of your own?
Classical items, diamonds, Big Spender and gold membership are crucial for our EEconomy.
I consider that item prices should be reported to their functionality as well, so its best for some prices to low and others to grow.
As for advertising I know a lot of people who came from Facebook. So we should focus more on social media. Because EE is a socialising game! And with the Stream release I believe EE has a very nice continuity!

Such a strong statement, I hope you stick to your "truth" until the end.
There are many indEEpendent parties that focus on different aspects of the issues. Our campaigns differ, so do our approaches. I see your point, but I just wish you would also see ours.
I think you are the wrong person to tell me this.
I do indeed see what everyone else thinks, and i agree.
We are all different.
But the logic you people keep proposing is flawed.
Killing the game is a solution that goes overboard.
Taking contest prizes away and giving them to others is extremely wrong and unfair.
And AsurcH, your policy still remains a mistery.
What do you think about the problems EE has?
Since you never anwsered that bit.

I have actually answered that quite indirectly I suppose. Several times I suggested the problems we are dealing with are because of the lack of maximum EEficiency. My whole campaign focuses on dealing with the believed source of problems in fastest and most efficient way. We, as a party know that the ultimate goal of all of us is to make Everybody Edits a better place. So we propose to all our voters and non-voters a way to achieve this ultimate goal as fast as possible. This is a shortcut way we chose that would eliminate the process of identifying the real problems, but first dealing with the sources of them. The problems still intact after this, we will have a broader look at them then. I hope I was able to demonstrate a clear explanation of our party policy. If you have further questions I would be more than glad to answer them.

I play Nationstates which is a game where you take the role of a President and solve the nation's issues.
So I have experience about having a presidential sit too.
I think you will find my nation's record to be impeccable.
What do you think is the best way for Everybody Edits to raise money? Is the current system fine, should it be altered in some way, or should it be replaced with a new proposal of your own?
I believe that the best way for Everybody Edits to raise money is to add client-side modifications that are purchase-only, as well as giving users a way to donate to Everybody Edits outside of the game. A prominent DONATE button on the game page, visible under the game window, may encourage users to donate without providing them with benefits not available to others.
Another way to make money would be to lower the price of gems or the gem cost of items in the shop, stimulating purchases and use of gems. When doing this, it would be prudent to give users who have purchased gems in the past a small gift of gems or a free shop item as a reward for purchasing gems at their higher cost/higher value, which may also increase their likelihood of buying more.
I agree with Calicara that Everybody Edits merchandise could be a decent source of income, especially if it is made-to-order instead of spending money up front on stock. Web advertising would also be a way to increase the playerbase, which should increase revenue.

What would be Everybody Edits's ideal target audience, and how should EE reach out and appeal to that audience?

ee's ideal target audience should be everyone. ee should reach out/appeal by have various levels of censorship optional, from like 100% north korea to 100% anything not illegal

DUE TO JAWAPA'S RECENT BANNING, I SHALL BE POSTING FOR HIM UNTIL HE IS UNBANNED. PLEASE NOTE THAT NONE OF THE OPINIONS OF JAWAPA ARE REFLECTED BY THE DEATH PARTY UNLESS SAID OTHERWISE
Alright, even though I've switched parties on the ballot, my views have not changed. I have been spewing a lot of nonsense throughout this debate, which may have been confusing to people. I've received several questions on my approach to economic situations, so:
How I would better the economy
The current economic system is great. Lower class people are not left with nothing, while upper class dominate. For the most part, everything in the stores can be obtained for free. The downside to getting it for free, is people have to wait much longer. Upper class people are able to purchase items directly, and not have to wait nearly as long. Classic items are a way to ensure that people are not obtaining everything for free. This makes sure Eversitan still has revenue coming in.
- Discounts! There are so many reason to do a discount. Holidays, special events, big updates... hell, you could throw out discounts because it's your birthday. So why aren't they? Because in the staff's mind, they would be losing money. If you do it right, you could make A LOT of money on discounts.
- Advertising. Without a community, you have no one buying, which means we have no money flow. The bigger the community, the more money flow.
- More purchase options. The current government has restricted everyone to a pay-pal. That's a no bueno. More purchase options opens more doors.
- Subscriptions need to be thrown out the damn window. No one likes them. With builders club, you paid to get features that you could obtain without builders club. Gold membership, or builders club 2.0, will end the same way BC did.
- Beta needs to be used more. It's been argued that it's a little rediculous to pay the staff to test their mistakes. But, it keeps everyone from swarming to beta, making it a little exclusive. If you don't offer anything to beta, no one will want to buy it. As it stands, beta does very little testing. The litte bit of testing they do get to do, is pretty much worthless.
- People who are banned could be charged to have their accounts unbanned, sooner. I'm not in total favor of this, but it's still an idea. If you get banned, you should serve your time, no short cuts. But if the country is dying for money, it could be done.

What would be Everybody Edits's ideal target audience, and how should EE reach out and appeal to that audience?
Everybody Edits doesn't have a target audience. It's been repeated time, and time again, that Everybody Edits likes to keep a peaceful atmosphere for people of all ages. For the most part that remains true.
There really isn't even a popular age group in Everybody Edits. I would say most of the people you talk to us <20 years old. I think the oldest I've seen is 40 something.
With that in mind, it's not hard to appeal to people. You just have to show the game for what it is. To start with, you actually have to put up ads. It's been 2 or 3 years and the staff has only talked of ads. It's not hard. My brother has talked about EE and got people to sign up.

I think the game should be for all ages. Expressing your creativity is something people of all ages tend to enjoy. Chat censorship should be optional as it is now. Extra-concerned people should be able to turn off the chat in-game. As for stuff like art involving nudity, I think that there could be a "warning" before joining these types of worlds for those concerned (though I think explicit content, including gore should not be allowed in any levels.

The hopeful audience of the game is of course everyone, but for targeting purposes, I would say ages 9-15 is a good range to start with. This is your most likely group to get to play a new Flash-type game. This demographic should be targeted mainly through targeted web advertisements and some sort of "word of mouth" campaign. Getting existing players to do guerrilla marketing by recommending the game to players would cost nothing and have a wide reach across countries, languages, and ages.
As to the censorship issue that other campaigns have brought up, chat censorship should be on an opt-out basis. A game targeting mainly young children should protect them first and foremost, but older players should have the option to enjoy a less sanitized experience.

Well the game is for all ages, but i dont exactly recommend advertising to 50 year olds or something.
I think we should bring in more people who are pretty young and have some time to spare.
So i think the best target would be kids and teenagers.
Not saying no one else is allowed to play, but the majority of people who will are teens and pre-teens.
How we should reach out im not exactly sure.
Advertising on popular game sites like Kongregate is a good method of getting in a lot of players.
Since teens who play video games can usually be found there.

I'm not sure what is the record you talk about. So I looked onto the nations rate. Im in top 10k and you aren't even rated...

What would be Everybody Edits's ideal target audience, and how should EE reach out and appeal to that audience?
One of the difference between humans and animals is our highly imagination and creativity.
Without them we are computers. Computers can't create. They just follow instructions. But they can help us making our ideas become real.
Our target audience in my opinion are the young(kids and teens have the most creativity and imagination) who want to enter a different World. A beautiful world, with many people that share their desire to create. This game must be created by us! We are the ones who decide how the future of this game will look!
When I was little I enjoyed making my own board games, with my own rules. But I always staid open minded for suggestions.
I see that my colleagues used an objective look about the debate. But we can't just talk, we must do facts!
"how to reach out audience?" many administrators and moderators have asked this. However I do not remember that our suggestions had been performed.
We need a new clean promo video! We need to revive our social media!
We must start into portable devices such as smartphones and tablets! We must keep improving, but without damaging the core of this game!
Until then, I can't do anything but tell my friends to try it, and risk their security thought the ancient Adobe Flash.
