Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Best browser? tip: not chrome

Firefox masterrace here, whats the best browser and why?

Firefox - Smooth, customizable, doesn't bully cpu.

modedit: to fully understand why this topic is hilarious, upon opening, anyone who was using google chrome would have their browser immediately close due to some cleverness in zelda's signature. -z

Re: Best browser? tip: not chrome

I use Microsoft Edge since upgraded to Windows 10.
Sometimes I use Firefox because Edge has some limitations.
Chrome is bad
About Opera, i don't know

Firefox. I've been using it for ages and it's just the most easy to use for me.

Re: Best browser? tip: not chrome

Used Chrome for a while, but I've realized it's a huge RAM hog. Its layout bothers me for some reason too, it might look nice but it just doesn't click with me.
I'm sticking with Firefox at the moment and no problems yet. Microsoft Edge is actually pretty good as well (it's nothing like the huge mess IE was), not using it only because it has almost no addons.

Re: Best browser? tip: not chrome

Stuff like "bullying cpu" or "ram hog" makes me more concerned for how bad your PC is. I thought those were a thing of the past.

I use Chrome in for general browsing because it's fast/smooth/minimalistic, I use FF for EE because pepper flash sucks. It feels more sluggish for general browsing to me.

Re: Best browser? tip: not chrome

I use Chrome because it works with all of the other Google stuff I have: google photos, gmail, search, bookmarks, up coming android phone, google now, google play store, google scholar, google maps and such. Firefox is much much nicer to play EE in (almost double the frame rate) and so I use that occasionally.

Opera on my mobile device 100%. It has a "mini" feature which compresses webpages to save tonnes of data (since I'm on a data cap.) Saves about 90% of the webpage's size, which is extremely nice.

I use Firefox. Unlike Chrome, Firefox doesn't take 8574839675483965782657483625478326578439 yottabytes of memory.

This is one of my least favorite things about Chrome, actually. In addition to my window manager's window decorations, it has its own band of decoration it uses to fill the unused space in the tab bar (and place the user switcher). When windows go inactive, this band looks totally out of place in comparison to my window decorations, and there's no way to configure the color IIRC.
Thing is, Firefox isn't great about following my GTK theme either. Fact is, it doesn't. At all. Chrome at least uses the proper colors and icons.

Re: Best browser? tip: not chrome

chrome for commercial use and EE

firefox for most web-based games

the reason why I prefer chrome for EE is because firefox's EE lags greatly when i drag a block into the hotbar

Hold on I've got a thing for that I'll see if I can find it somewhere. It still won't use the icons but at least the color scheme will be right.

Re: Best browser? tip: not chrome

Finally, a reason to switch browsers.
For a while, due to my derpingness with internets, I had to use chrome instead of firefox.
But now firefox works, and this post gives me a reason to switch.
Thank you, topic.

Re: Best browser? tip: not chrome

Haha Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox noobs.

Use Internet Explorer, it makes EE more challenging.

This is a false statement.

I use Chrome, because I was stuck the piece of Zoey that is called "ChromeOS"
I got used to it.

At time I used Avast, was pretty fast.

I have firefox installed, but never use it.

Makes sense.
Just like that tree/bear game some guy posted on github. If you've played it you'll know what I'm saying.
