Remove contest smileys from admins

If an admin didn't win a contest, they shouldn't be able to use contest smileys, just out of respect for those who worked hard to earn them.

Eh, I've yet to see it be a problem. Normally I would agree, but they seem to be respectful about not using them.

Jawapa mains the bird and bunny now, I'll be happy if those are removed from his profile specifically

Apparently he uses all the contest smileys and nothing else. I'll be fine if the mods and admins use them during seasonal holidays, but not throughout the whole year. Also I am fine with Toop using the Artist Smiley since he created it.

Yeah i thought it was a seasonal thing but its all I ever see him with.

It should just be that if you didn't win the contest, dont use the smiley. Unless it IS for Easter or Halloween.

100% agreed. In fact, there are too many staff members, and this is exactly why they should remove the unique smileys..

I don't understand who made that stupid decision in the first place.. If they didn't win a contest or send fanmail, why should they have those smileys? Not to mention that guardians are absolutely useless and do basically nothing besides showing off their purple appearance..

I mostly agree. I feel that if an admin/moderator did not partake in the organization or victory of a contest, they shouldn't be authorized to have such exclusives.

I actually don't have any contest smileys, not even that one.

I am half and half on this issue. They shouldn't be allowed to have them if they didn't participate in the contests, but then again, they own the game, so they can do as they please. I haven't seen any admins/mods use any contest smileys to begin with (besides the artist, but they should be allowed to own that one, since they organized the contest).

I think they should be allowed to use them since they were chosen to be staff, they're superior. I don't see why it's such a big issue, they're smilies, pixels. Why should they really matter. To be honest I'd rather be alarmed if they have bigger and better worlds than us, and have exclusive blocks

None of the staff members but NVD owns the game.. And it does not matter if they use these smileys or not, the fact that they have it is outrageous.

I don't see a problem, really. It's their own game, they can use it. They do a lot of work and they deserve it nonetheless.

Personally I'd be up in arms about an admin/mod wearing a bird smiley if they didn't win it (Pretty sure Nou is the only one who has it legit) so I understand not wanting them to wear the pumpkin smileys as well. I have yet to see an admin wear the bird smiley though, so I haven't had a problem up to this point.

I agree with the sentiment that it would be okay around or on those holidays, but otherwise to avoid it.

I don't care and no. I am saying this on behalf of everyone who legitimately achieved those prizes. You, JaWapa, did nothing at that time to deserve them today. You didn't build any world or design any loading screen that made you deserving of those smileys.

It's a matter of principle. Better yet, don't have them at all. People might see them in your profile and think that you actually won them.
