Everybody Edits Survey

This survey is meant to gather some info on a few things. This info will be used to guide a few future updates. If you provide your username, your answers will remain anonymous. There will be retaliation from game staff due to the answers you provide.

Please, keep your answers honest and accurate.

Strange, I was just thinking yesterday on how there should be an official survey. Anyway, I think there should be some sort of blog post or news notification about this to get more attention.

Also, it should be noted that my join date is an estimate—I joined around the time of the and smileys, but have no particular date since I forgot my original account's full username.

Why do you guys spend so much time trying to get the "old users back"? Time changed, everyone aged. Better try to fix the first impression EE makes to potential new users. Don't expect 18-25yrs olds to play a game intended for 6-11yr old players.

Besides of that there should be a text field for additional notes. Also the whole community is not represented by the forums, or those which take their time to finish this survey - keep that in mind.

What does "Do you think the game should be redesigned? * Should it get completely overhauled? (Excluding blocks/smileys)" mean?

I said "no" because there was no "I don't know/care" option (Seriously nubs, when you make a survey and a question is required, always include an opt out option!) but I am curious.

How does one overhaul the game with just keeping smilies and blocks?

Like.. changing physics? Why would you want to do that?

Anyways, I submitted a book. Enjoy reading it!

Yeah, some of the questions need editing. This is what multitasking leads to.

By that I meant more UI. The physics would have to stay the same to prevent messing up old worlds. A lot of people seem to think the game is difficult to navigate and play. Rather than fix the current stuff, should we just completely redesign it. The block menu, the shop, the main lobby, the chat log, etc.

Why are you so negative? My goodness; Everybody Edits is NOT meant for 6-11-year-olds. It is meant for all ages. The minimalistic take on the graphics combines together chathouse and sandbox elements together. Just because Facebook has "kiddie" Emojis does not mean Facebook is meant for children.

Means, what you really want is to get that hand full of people back, to get their experience?
(Even though a lot of them we're already for a short time "back" & always keep an eye on the game..)

That is not really a good plan, because:
a) The game has changed.
b) You want to improve the game for the people who actually play and keep playing.
c) They represent even less of the community than the forum, what makes these few older players so special?
d) Even if some of their ideas might be good, EE shouldn't focus that much on "veterans" - focus instead on the noobs. Their opinion is by far more important. Even if they are little kids crying for edit. (=> Maybe there should be a destruction mode where you can troll a strangers world;)

Redesign the lobby, but most importantly:

FIX THE LOGIN SCREEN

I'm sure many people stumbling on the site are turned off by the lack of any way to play as a guest

A big "REGISTER NOW" button and a tiny "login" button are awful.

No-one wants to sign up for a game just to try it out, no matter how easy it is.

I did this survey...

Was hard trying to understand how to get an code for free gems... and it LACKS update due to only some devs. We NEED MORE... the more devs, the faster time will update the game... the better, the more peoples will come in... the more, the better peoples will invite others to play ee.

My main problem with this game is that it's roughly 850x500.
It's small.

I know this cannot be fixed without redrawing all the graphics :/
