Though I do believe that if you live in American the government has lied to you at least 7 times before breakfast.

USA is the most brainwashed country when it comes to politics. I highly suggest for them to stop watching the news especially ones that feature Obama. I do recommend them to travel to other countries more often as well.

The political opinions of the population are massively influenced by the media in any country. I barely know anything about for example, Spain, Lithuania or Honduras, but I'm pretty sure there is someone complaining about Spanish media's political brainwashing or about Lithuanian news being too biased against/in favor of their government.

once it got leaked in 2007 the government didn't even try to cover it up
