No matter who I look for (instead of Chris), everyone lost their accounts literally, and evidently. So, if in a matter we have to re-register, do we have to buy all of our stuff again?

It won't show up...none of anyone's will show up. Has Chris shut down the servers or something?
No. If the servers weren't up, you wouldn't have had the log in screen. Probably has something to do with an update that failed epicly. If profiles/accounts do not return, or if they return and you have to re register and re purchase all items you have had, I would refund the money from my previous account and reuse it for that account.
It seems that it's been fixed. For me atleast.
