Design feedback.

These buttons are fail and generally unnessesary. This just sucks.
And the background should probably be slightly lighter than the forums, not vice versa.
Post what you think here, I guess. The dots pattern is just horrible, too. The post outline and stuff is too light.

I agree. This is now the second most failhard design I've ever seen.

EDIT:
Background not being black = a lot of peoples avatars and signatures are now nerfed. This new grey with black dots thing is just horrible. And those giant buttons up there are kind of unnecessary, obnoxious, takes up too much space, are ugly etc..

Those dots, ugh.

Also, I rather disliked the bar at the top earlier when it didn't go all the way across the page, and now the line under it jokes exasperates the problem.

Those buttons are highly redundant, and bulky, too.

Hmm, you make a good point about the blackness. I might restore that.

About them being "bulky", the adverts are now gone as is a lot of the other pointless crap that was there, so it's actually less crowded.

Did you ask cyclone if you could do that? I imagine he might be a bit angry if you didn't.
EDIT liking the black better. I think if you shoved the 'Logged in as' bar to the top of the page(perhaps sharing the bit with the top links), it all would look quite nice.

Looks much better now.

Search is useful sometimes..

The only other thread about this was created after this one.

I sayed that using search can be useful when looking for an level topic or a post in a old topic. (Zoey said that nobody cares about that)

OMG what is freaking happening!?! Theres these buttons on the top of the page in a cluttered matter and all the avatars are messed up and everything is grey and there are new forums and this is freaking out of control!!! We have to do something about this men!

Can something be done about this ):
Something like setting the space between each button to change to fit the width of the forum, or whatever?
Sounds like a pain, but it'd look really nice imo.

Ah, cheers for pointing that one out. I thought that it was a fixed-width column in the center. I'll fix that in a moment.

Squished and overlaps strangely, it needs to squish according to screen size.

I do find it quite ironic that EE has to have parental controls to avoid children seeing bad language, yet it is fine for people to swear on the forums where the same children look.... does somewhat make the silly chat parental controls a bit pointless...?

I rarely change quotes.
and forums =/= EE, and this is technically an unofficial forum.

I like the final design, I actually like the dots on the post writing box.
My only problem : At the top where it says 'Index' 'User list' 'Rules' etc.
Can you please put the direct link to the game there again? Or am i the only one who uses that?
