Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Ok so THANKS for ALL feedback, and keep them comments coming! But as a lot of people have complained, with a LOT of credit to Sleepy and credit also to collectionshower, Sleepy kindly made it so that:
1. It has a border!
2. Its looking at you, not "down" as some people said!
3. Its EE Size!
So here it is! gnQ0z.png
Also i'd like to thank LegoLover for his "Red Eye" edit: 3tEzs.png

EDIT: Renamed Droid Smiley

What do you two mean with 'it doesn't fit in with EE style'?
Does terminator fit in? I don't think so.
Neither do loads of other smileys like superman or diver smiley...
Your argument is invalid.

Re: Support The Robot Smiley!

I agree with Nematejaja, most of EE's graphics don't fit each other, I could give an example with the smileys.

The smileys originally, as most of EE's community knows, are from Facebook, therefore they weren't made by RPGmaster, as far as I know.

Assuming that RPGmaster didn't make the smileys for Facebook (which he probably didn't), the art styles of both artists are different, from here you can understand that the graphics will look different, even on such a small smiley sprite.
If we'll look on the regular ":)" smiley in EE and compare it to one of EE's caps or hats, you will see that there is a big difference between the art style. The smiley uses less colours,it doesn't have many details, and doesn't really have any shading, plain and simple basically. On the other hand, a cap like the cowboy's one has many colours and shading on it, other then that, it also doesn't have the white outline all of the smileys have.

Another example I could give is the "Maestro" smiley, which has those 6 dark pixels on each side of it, without any shading nor anti aliasing, which makes it looks completely different from the regular FB smiley's style.

I like like it //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

The only problems I see are that its looking down and doesn't have the same circle shape that all EE smilies start off with

Re: Support The Robot Smiley!

I see the "looking down" problem, the smiley DOESN'T have a mouth, thats just a helmet groove
Its actually LOW eyes, and BTW, not ALL smileys are circular AT ALL! They have hair, hats, so i put to Side Bolts. PLEASE SUPPORT WITH THE SIG!

@iced: I know not all smilies are circular but they start off that way, and I guess what I ment was the white ring/outline thingy

Re: Support The Robot Smiley!

I see what drew is saying. If you think of real life, when you wear a hat, it's not part of your head so it doesn't define your head shape. The smilies all have round heads, but the robot doesn't.

Re: Support The Robot Smiley!

Oh! Wait a sec! Facial features! Doesn't define your HEAD SHAPE, thats a HUMAN feature, this is a ROBOT, the Terminator is Half Human Half Cyborg! The robot is just designed in this way, you don't need to complain as when you are say a wizard and you are next to a Builder or Commando or Ninja, you look normal, the Robot is one the the EE exceptions. Please support me.

Despite it doesn't quite match the style of the other smileys, it is a pretty neat concept, simple and neat color scheme. The shading is also decent. I noticed it was over sized (18X17 pixels), so I re-sized it to 16X16 pixels. bfJal.png

Re: Support The Robot Smiley!

its true that not all the smileys are round, and im not just talking about the hats ect look at the devil smiley up close, its just a square with the corners off.

Re: Support The Robot Smiley!

I see why many people claim it looking down. If you want, I can try and add a border to it and try and fix the "looking down" issue.
