Ranks for Game

Well..I got a Idea..Since theres Ranks for the Forums then why not the Game to? Only Registerd people can get them tho. So. Why not put Ranks in the Game to?

I don't think we need ranks for EE.And their were,some people might be like"Lolz I haz better rank than u!!!111!!I iz bettter!!:D".Yeah,so ranks should not be put ingame.

There are two ranks: Admin and Normal. Admin haz orange names.

If there was ranks in everybody edits, how would gaining the rank effect you?

i would guess that gaining rank does the same thing as it does on the forums.   it just gives you a title, but there is still the problem that we have no way of measuring it, so there isnt really any point in it.

Oh, man. I can just see everyone calling their world "Code is 123" to get more hits and rank up faster.
And spamming the link to their world all over the web.
And abusing proxy servers.
And doing trade-off hits with friends.

I vote no on the X plays.

I also vote no on the idea altogether. There are no quantifiable goals in this game, so there's nothing to rank up for. The users create all the content, so there's no fair way to gauge how points are earned. It's not going to work.

All we need is new bricks and art. We don't need to make this into any type of game that isn't sandbox. You people are trying to turn it into some CTF/minigame game. It is, always has been, and always needs to be a multiplayer sandbox.

saying ranks will lead to RPG-like stats is like saying sitting down will lead to baldness.   they have absolutely nothing to do with each other.   as proof, the forums here have ranks, yet they don't have stats.  

at least put in a reputation system, like the one used in the forums.
